I run an U13s team and would have got us more than 24 points.

I'm not sure it's owned by the club these days. -

The club is actively recruiting someone to lead the football side of the business. Naturally, recruiting the right person can take time, target deadlines will no doubt be set and at times missed. Contract negotiations and compensation agreements take time. It doesn't mean it's not happening. -

The club were pursuing someone already employed elsewhere which is possibly why there has not been an announcement whilst contracts and potentially compensation are agreed. I think it's pretty obvious who that person is/was. Perhaps those discussions have broken down and we are now pursuing alternative options. -

Non player, more than respectable record, some would say impressive once you consider the recent on field successes. -

Along the right lines... -
I'm pretty sure the Liebherr family made a huge amount from their investment in the club. So it is possible and could lead to a return!

For those interested I ended up designing and purchasing the kitchen myself from diy-kitchens.co.uk - they are a genuine rival for Howdens and Benchmarx, all units come pre-assembled and they have a great range of cabinets, large and small. Highly recommended.
-
Crab Lungs, do Howdens do carcasses only? Also, if I give you the outline of a design, are you able to mock it up and give an idea of pricing please? Sorry to ask, have tried at Basingstoke but they appear to be too busy to help! Many thanks in anticipation.

Many thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Any ideas on realistic costs for both materials and labour? It's a complete rewire of a 4 bed house, with nothing special in terms of light fittings etc Standard number of double sockets per room, 2 shower rooms and a bathroom. I have been given two quotations which are miles apart... Thanks
-
I'm planning to do exactly that with the Utility room to help save on budget. I wasn't sure it was enough for the kitchen though - perhaps I'll do the utility room first and see how it goes. Thanks all for advice/suggestions.

John Lewis of Hungerford.......?? ££££££££ :-)
-
Many thanks, I think I'll just pop in and wing it for the time being - then look for a tradesperson once I know what I want.
-
Ok all you experts out there, how do I go about arranging an appointment with Howdens?? (I don't have a kitchen fitter/tradesperson yet) Thanks..
-
Compare his record to that of Peter Crouch for England... not quite so impressive then! Based on his goals per game, Crouchie would be on 40 or so goals now, if he had played the last 5 years.... makes Rooney's achievement a little less 'special' in my eyes. Worth taking into account Robbie Keanes record for ROI, scoring more for a lesser team. Could Rooney have done that? Not bitter, 50 goals is still an achievement - but it doesn't deserve the unbalanced media reaction it has received.
-
Thanks all for the excellent advice here! Amazing what useful info you can find on SaintsWeb - we're shortly be in the market for a decent kitchen and utility room. Have experienced Magnet, I really don't want to have to go back! Just assumed the only other option was Howdens but will now look into Wren and Benchmarx too. Thanks all.
-
No point, he's probably had it removed.... :-)

Transfer update on Clyne, Schneiderlin and transfer priorities
tommi replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
An absolutely fantastic player who will be severely missed. Wholeheartedly agree, our only true world class player. Have always rated him as our best player for many years, so happy to have been proven right. Will be gutted to see him go. -
Many thanks Saint Armstrong, a real pleasure to read. Just reinforces what a thoroughly great professional Nigel is. I hope to see him back in work in a frontline role at a great club very soon.
-
4th place for me - it shows a sustained level of performance over an entire season. And would absolutely rock the footballing establishment in the UK! Whilst a cup win is very romantic, the under dogs do win it. A team/club such as Southampton does not achieve 4th place in the Premier League.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. Also played his best football in the Red and White of Atletico!! ;-)

Some? seems most of them post here, regularly. Spot on with your observations, I couldn't have put it better myself!

At least Essruu is funny though.
