Sorry, I don't often post here but I thought about this question as a possible poll but don't know how to start a poll. I'm going to go for Maya Yoshida as he is a loyal player and is our captain. Questions I would ask him... How do you like Southampton and do you sometimes go into the city? What's it like coming from Japan to England and what cultural differences have you noticed? Is there anything you dislike about Southampton/England? How are your family adapting to life in Southampton? Loads more but I'd love to speak to him. BTW, I have 4 children so family matters would be first on my mind.

OK, I'm watching Saint v Huddersfield on raspberry pi connected to big TV RPi hard wired to Sky router Kodi plus Flawless add-on ipvanish VPN pretending to be in Paris 48 hour FLAWLESS pass £2.00 absolutely perfect! I thought the 48 pass was a one-off trial but it's the second time I've used it. This is probably the way I will go in the future as I don't mind paying £2/game

Working well for me thanks 5s I can't get it to go full screen though.

To get the streams, you need Kodi installed and the Flawless add-on. I think the add-on gets its streams from a different address.

Saints ARS worked fine for me. I left it a little late to start installing but thanks to ZurichBoy post 1507 I was successful although I missed our first goal. ZB instructions were very slightly off for me but that's probably because I'm running a different version of Kodi. Wouldn't have been able to install without ZB instructions so thanks Zurich! I took the 48 hr freebie, I'm running IPVanish VPN and was impressed. A couple of freezes but soon recovered. I used to be with SM but will probably stick with Flawless whilst SM requires bitcoin. Good recommendation from those who recommended Flawless. Cheers!

Yeah. The big teams always get the advantage over that kind of thing. Refs think 'lets not upset the big teams'. A shame but a better result than I expected

Did anyone else watch the game? Does anyone else agree that it was a much more entertaining game than we watch at St Mary's? How is this Saints related? Well I'd be tempted to sign up all of the women's England players in place of our squad!

Fair point DM. However, MC fans will be flooding the votes. So, we either boycott the vote or place our own votes. Difficult moral decision here. If we flood the votes too then it's up to the genuine non-biased voters which I hope will outnumber the club fans? Hey, lets's accept that the vote will be unfair and vote for Boufal anyway. I pride myself as being level headed and still thought Boufal's was the best. But I would say that wouldn't I?

Just voted for our man. He scored entirely as a result of his own efforts with some clever trickery. Ayew goal was good too for the same reason but not quite as good as ours. Click the link at top of this thread and vote! Link worked fine for me.

It was strange! I was able to watch most of the second half (perfect stream) on kodi/big TV once I discovered imwithmania had been fixed. First half I watched on small iphone thanks to jonnyboy recommendation. The strange thing is that matrix tv which jonnyboy said was working did indeed work with no password/subscription problems at all. I signed in with usual password/username and immediately, an excellent stream played on iphone. No subscription update failures etc. it just worked. I do hope SM isn't going down the pan.

sportsmania now working on kodi. They've fixed the subscription renewal problem. code imwithmania for a free week if you previously had a subscription

I've tried that but it buffers a lot. Unwatchable. Thanks for suggestion though. Oh well, back to iphone as 2nd half just started

Thanks for reminding me! I'd forgotten I had matrix TV on iphone. The only stream I can get working at the moment. I use ipvanish on iphone as VPN

Maybe you are right. The game seemed to lose a bit of tempo half way through the second half, Swansea players included. I guess what you are saying is that it's the first game of the season and not an indication of how things will go for the rest of the season. There's been some surprizes in other games too!

I just tried buffstream.com for the Brighton game. Lots of buffering for me but it is a UK (BT Sports) stream. It looks as though there are going to be problems with UK based streams but if the earlier Saints game was from an overseas stream, then that may be why it was OK. I'm on SM for the moment but will give the next Saints game on bufstream.com a try to compare with SM

I don't understand what's happened to Gabbi. When he first started with us, he was electric. Now he's trying to play the same way but end result is just a trickle across the goal mouth or a shot that's well wide.

I used a raspberry pi running openelec (kodi) plus ipvanish VPN also running on the RPi. I used the 2 week free subscription on Sports Mania with the SM Add-On on RPi. Sky Unlimited broadband 38Mbps SkyQ router hard wired to RPi Pretty well a perfect HD stream all the way through. PL video and English commentary in sync with video. I'll probably resubscribe to SM when the free 2 weeks runs out.
