  1. Its not going to end well, is it?
  2. Hs follows quite a bit of Spurs stuff on Twitter actually. A lot for a Burnley fan.
  3. The Rod's Dad just retweeted an article saying City are keeping tabs on Spurs target Jay Rodriguez. Despite what Koeman said I can't see much other than him moving on. His camp seem to have been happy to have his name mentioned with other clubs pretty much all the time he was out injured. Canny operators.
  4. Keeper got to do better for both goals yesterday. Poor.
  5. FAO Saint86: I said "almost everything". So you wasted a lot of time on the above having convinced yourself it was "everything". I don't mind being ripped, but do your homework.
  6. Almost everything you say is just....wrong. I don't recall any media outlets saying specifically that there isn't much interest in him? Which articles are these? £12m signing that hasn't lived up to expectations? What do you mean? He was very good last year and easily in top 3 for POTS this year. You will see how much we miss him in the next 2 games. No way on earth we will accept £12m. Wow.
  7. He is a better Shane Long. Quality finisher but little to no hold up play and a poorish allround game. Wouldn't work up on his own or out wide so wouldnt really fit our system. Austin would fit better.
  8. Of course it has. You don't leave out the England right back when you are a team of our size, for an important game when there are only a handful left and no midweek games.l
  9. Bit of a shame that of all the players we have signed since we became a PL side the only ones to sign new contracts are Davis and Yoshida. We basically sign good players on usually 4 year deals and then are forced to sell after 2 or 3 years. What is happening with Clyne will also happen with Jay Rod this summer, Wanyama next, Mane the season after etc. Shows we target good players but agree with earlier comments that at times we don't seem to deal with contracts well. Fonte was a fiasco situation in the summer, Cork handled badly. Koeman said we only started talks with Clyne last autumn after he got in the Eng squad, which if truenis bizarre. Hopefully we are trying to get Wanyama to sign another one, but he most likely won't. So many of the squad are still going on about top4 which worries me as we have little to no chance. When we inevitably finish 5th-7th I think some of them will be disappointed with it, which for a Club like Saints, is stupid. Wouldn't suprise me if a couple in the summer say they want CL footy if they can get it.
  10. Thought you had a rest during the Intl break. Very poor. **** in fact. Hope you have some new material for next season.
  11. Good: Toby. Quality player in a few positions. Gash: Long. Atrocious apart from a pen won from a poor tackle. First touch is dreadful. Composure dire. Finishing awful. Tracking back crap today. Dreadful signing tbh.
  12. Tadic decent when he came on. Setup the open play goal. Always works well with the full back compared to other wide men and has a lot more composure than Long. Did well on the right today and has been good on the right in many games this season. Should be a starter at the moment.
  13. Good news on Davis. Team should be: Davis Clyne Fonte Toby Bertrand Morgan Reed Davis Tadic Mane Pelle
  14. Should be a Ronald presser today. Lets hope he confirms Davis is fot and then the decision to have Wanyama on the bench is a no brainer.
  15. Slattery a good example. Just captained England to U16 trophy success and best player in our U18s yet nobody is excited about him because we know deep down that he will either join Arsenal before playing in the first team, or shortly afterwards with about 20 apps to his name.
  16. Steven N'Zonzi Islam Slimani Riyad Mahrez Deulofeu likely to leave Barca too.
  17. All the more reason to not play him unless needed during the 90, as he could well miss two important games that on paper are much harder than Hull at home.
  18. As I thought.
  19. As a Morgan replacement (albeit possibly an expensive one) how about Steven N'Zonzi? Has developed into a really good PL player and has good technique alongside the required athleticism and physicality. Expect a few who half watch other teams to slate this suggestion, but he has been excellent this season.
  20. Could Wanyama be rested, or at least benched, as its ths final game in which he could get a 2 game ban - missing two tough games in Stoke away and Spurs at home. If Davis is fit I wouldn't start Vic.
