  1. Great play from both KWP and Bree, and a lovely header from Bednarek
  2. I've mentioned it before but that game meant nothing to Liverpool, or us. They had a much changed side, including nearly the entire defence and had their, at the time 3rd choice keeper in. It was more of a farewell to Firmino game than anything else for them. I'm not convinced he would have torn apart their regular side with something to play for. He's hardly tore apart anyone else before or after, even in the championship which was really disappointing. Saying all that I often wonder how some of these players would perform dropping them into Koeman's side high on confidence. Would he have gotten a better tune out of him? Would he have been any worse than Djuricic or Elia for eg? I miss those days. These constant hammerings are miserable.
  3. Lowest points at this stage and then go on to avoid relegation? Remain on 6 points all season but win the FA Cup and then winning Europa league from the Championship next season? Yeah sorry I'm being silly. It's sad just how long this season will be brought up in the future for all the wrong reasons unless something silly happens anyway.
  4. Agree with the couple ranking lists above. Maybe I would put Edozie as a slightly less smelly turd as he was certainly more useful than Orsic for eg. Can't argue with the rest though. There are a few missing from what I can see but apologies if they have been mentioned. Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Maxwell Cornet, Lesley Ugochukwu and Kuryu Matsuki. Only Les has approached anything I would call useful but I know nothing of Matsuki or how his loan at Goztepe is going.
  5. I believe he would still be on zero goals if that game meant anything to Liverpool.
  6. I know were doomed, but I would really like to avoid this list so 20 points is the minimum. https://theanalyst.com/2024/09/lowest-points-totals-in-premier-league-history
  7. https://www.worldfootball.net/table_calculator/eng-premier-league/ Even if I'm very generous and obviously biased and deluded it still takes ages to get out of the bottom 3.
  8. So I should only mention West Ham in the last decade then? Ignore all of his other three managerial disasters and just focus on West Ham. And I'm the one cherry picking...
  9. The guy was a disaster for Sunderland, Sociedad and Man U. You may be desperate to get him on board but I'm not, as I already said.
  10. I'd rather take a punt on Röhl than Moyes if either were interested. Moyes has been mostly crap in the last decade, so the chance that he'll come good for us are slim. He'd be off once relegated too. Plus no one likes how his teams play either.
  11. Very much doubt Moyes is interested. He already said he regrets the Sunderland job and felt it ruined his reputation.
  12. I think he's doing pretty well back in the Prem. Improving through sheer experience if anything. He's not getting moaned at as much on here and he himself doesn't seem to moan as much as he used to. I always felt a bit sorry for him tbh. He never did get the benefit of another experienced centre back to learn from. Unlike Yoshida he didn't get to play alongside Fonte, Alderweireld or even Lovren. A year with Fonte at the club would have been good for him I'm sure.
  13. 3 points and a giant step to avoiding this shitlist https://theanalyst.com/2024/09/lowest-points-totals-in-premier-league-history
  14. Stewart? So he's far closer to a return than we were lead to believe. Encouraging.
  15. I was actually being sarcastic because I know they really don't give a shit about it. Proven many times by the sheer number of far flung friendlies they all attend every year. Unnecessary air travel? Yeah who cares when money is involved right?
  16. Good to see these rich clubs concerned about the effect on the environment this will have.
  17. Nice bench too. Wonder if we'll see Stewart at some point?
  18. He's got a way to go to be worse than our start under Adkins but hasn't earned enough credit to last as long if things don't change very soon. If he does get sacked it'll be his own fault.
  19. If that game meant anything to Liverpool we would have been lucky to score one let alone four.
  20. Not sure what sugar has got to do with this but I think there should be a ban on advertising alcohol and gambling, just like tobacco. There's obviously too much money involved though.
  21. I don't see the fuss tbh. I doubt very much the people of Great Yarmouth give a shit who he is or even care about what he is going to do for them at that level. I bet the majority voted for him because they voted for Reform. Pure and simple.
  22. Part of a leaky defence for years. Should fit right in then.
  23. Is it true that Draper Tools are the main shirt sponser again? Be glad to be rid of the gambling crap tbh. I think we were the only club outsdide the big 6 that didn't have a bookie with aap3, Veho and Virgin since the first return to the prem, until we did of course. Anyway, as my first Saints memories are from the early 80's then the home Rank Xerox shirt will always be my favourite. I also liked the early 90's away blue flame Draper Tools one and the away black with a red arm Flybe one from mid 2000's.
  24. I know England are not playing there, and it's only stadium related but I was in Leipzig last week so thought to show a few pics of the Red Bull Arena getting prepared for the upcoming tournament that might be of interest for some. Of course, they can't call it that during the Euros so the logos are all covered for it. Yes I drove that little C2 there from the UK. Taken from the viewing platform on Leipzig's tallest building. Logos again covered.
  25. If Liverpool had anything to play for in the last game last season he would be on zero goals in 43 appearances. What a disappointment he's been.
