did HR get out of his sick bed for the game.Funny how he was ill when the FA charges were about. He wants his knighthood and doesnt wish to be enbroiled in anything underhand.
-
Run away , throw in the towel, panic Mr Manwaring. Boy, would I not want to go into battle with people like you.
-
So this team -10 to -17 points would stay up would it? The players would not be sold by the administrator then? who takes massive fees and stays in the best hotels drinks the best wines and champagnes on us. LA LA land St Richmond.
-
Saintkip you are the clown if you really believe that. As for Gillette he was fine saturday.
-
Phew, that is a major relief.Carry on walking until you see another then.
-
So Saints fans are now down on a player they havent seen but take notice of a load of goons on a football forum. Imagine how rival teams would get reports from here on a load of players. You cant take notice of them until you yourselves have seen the player.I agreee with the sentiments that he doesnt inspire but I doubt he is costing anything Pulis is trying to get his son to a new surrounding where he will not be seen as 'only plays because of his father'

some sense in what you say but it is not the post of the day. In your analogy you keep your car instead of selling it and lose your house a lot quicker because you failed to pay the mortgage.
-
drive around until you see another

Ladysaint is correct about a meeting.

when GB was here we were mid table and so that is fine by me.
-
Talk about a hypocrite. You want others to put in but shy away from doing so yourself. The chairman and all the staff receive their salaries for work done.It strikes me you are just an envious person. Keep banging your drum, you cant understand the basics of being up s### creek without a paddle.

All this questions why the last board santioned the signings and wages of Davies Thomas Euell etc last season while we obviously heading for dire financial troubles.
-
The club could not afford to reduce early bird prices futher next year. Im not the person who would complain anyway, remember the free bus thing then multiply that a few thousand times. I would welcome the club to take therinitiative but many wouldnt
-
Yep the signing of Andrew Davies will not cause any upset when he is sold...oh and Baird and Bale and KJ all three were below the radar when he arrived. Anyway this has been done to death and he has left us like thep layers and managers before.Just another scapegoat. It will be great when you provide photo evidence of him being drunk.

I suspect cummatively Askham is miles in front especially if you take into account the reverse takeover etc.
-
No not rosetinted, pragmatic. If we all turn against the kids we will definately fail.Support them and nuture them and we may come out of this. For years I have had fans say we wanted to have players who care for their shirts, we have the closest we are going to get and you still moan. The 27 years in the PL is a weight that still hangs around our necks because so many have never seen us play in a lower league and so have a feeling that we have divine rights to beat all comers.
-
more pertinent that Askham who has been in the shadows taking the big money pay some into the pot.
-
In harsh reality you are right, but Brum were brimming with PL quality players. They were outplayed for a long time and had to puton all their big guns to get a result.
-
It is so easy is it.Redcuce ticket prices, have you factored in the refunds to the 11000 s/t holders? I doubt you have.RL etc have been lumbered with the pricing they inherited. There is no room for manouver.I myself would accept paying more than a new pricing strategy to get more people into the ground but as we have a lot of fans who would complain that they were penalised it is not feasible
-
Well we had a dose of Redknapp and Moyes was tipped the wink that Everton wanted him and so he stayed up north. The 3 appoinments were not good but as I say I see why he did the 2 coachs. Considering you told us about Sturrock being so good at Plymouth Im surprised in you mentioning him
-
Throw the towel in after 2 games against 2 of the better teams, never mind we are all different.
-
I see that point but it is a buyers market and we dont know the full picture. As somebody has stated above something I had not thought of is that we are probably due to pay another installment on his fee.It is not all black and white. Seeing the crowd yesterday was more depressing than the AD sale. Why can we fill a stadium of badge kissers against Sheff utd, have an exhillerating result and then the next competitive match half have gone.
-
OK lets compare them with with the Liverpool bootroom. Untried managers Boothroyd and others.I didnt want either but I do understand why RL rewarded their loyalty. Especially Gray as when we were in complete disaray he stayed when Hoddle tried to take him with him.Why not give a loyal servant a chance?
-
Of course that has to be factored in but we are dealing with now, and now is not very pretty looking financially. If fans put AD ahead of the club then thats a sad situation.I dont think he is ready for the PL at present as his height and pace is not quite there. No doubting his bravery and will to win and Id rather keep him but 'the king is dead, long live the king' ps He has to pass a medical and to do so will be an achiement considering his long layoff.
