  1. Fergie just said 'into the Rabbits hutch.' Lol as he went into the changing rooms.
  2. is there a play off? We're gonna walk this league
  3. Well a collegue was at a meal with LC and another director and it came from the horses mouth. That was just after LC stated we the bank would support us. And the bank also know that there are 10-15 clubs who also will be in the running for promotion and so wont risk anymore unless it is backed by prudent financial decisions.
  4. whats he got to sacrifice, it wont be his saturdays with his mates at SMS
  5. You are in dreamland, we tried spinning the roulette wheel and lost. The bank told LC that they'd only support the club if we sell all we could.
  6. When the Wilde bunch came in all the Lowe outers said they;d go again but attendances still went down.
  7. You are mad.So you will guarentee your attendance in L1 or L2 then.No you find another reason like all the other stay aways.
  8. there is at least 1 player coming in before the window closes.Looks like Thomas and Euell have interest in them.
  9. Likewise I have seen all my heroes sold bar Paine and Le Tiss. From Davies to Channon onwards but I have learnt to realise from 1 going another appears.
  10. As much as I like Andrew Davies you have to compare him to any other medium to good quality CCC defender. He had not cut it in the PL and whilst he did well for us we still shipped goals and perhaps our perception of him is higher than teams who are looking for players. Stoke have taken a gamble on his fitness. When he arrived we were told by Boro fans that he was injury prone due to the fact he went for balls he should not have gone for.Great for the fans to see but a nightmare if you want to keep a settled side.
  11. If you PM me I'll start the thread... oh you can't.Pay your fiver and join in.It is cheap entertainment and opens up options for you.The more that pay the more to be re invested in the site.It is the same as fans going to SMS more turn up things will get better.
  12. yeah yeah we believe you.You just couldnt keep away
  13. its a vicious circle, fans stay away because we have to sell players, the income drops and so we have to sell more players which in turn makes them more determined not to go. I wonder if these people if we did manage (unlikely ) to make the play-offs will sneak into the games?
  14. I assume you beleive we didnt land on the moon, 9/11 was done by the CIA and Daina was murdered on the orders of Prince Phillip
  15. it might please you so you can go again and get rid of your self punishment. For fans like myself Im pleased to see the exciting thing going on and whilst delighted if money does come in, but also will always have the feeling of 'what if' The new lot will replace JP and he will be moved to the reserves youth etc and then Shearer will bring in some seasoned players. I have in the past seen Shearer as a good thing but the exciting football being sacrificed so early would be saddening. If we were not up the creek financially Id really be beating the drum against a change.
  16. Sorry I never saw the post about that. Why didnt you PM me ?
  17. Is that a dig at me? If so you havent read the posts.I havent said he's no good but he's not irreplacable and for all his endeavour he did not turn things around for us. If we were financially secure then having a player out for weeks would be more acceptable, in the meantime he has gone and that means we have got in a useful player . This week there are more to come
  18. Thats fine if you cannot debate and make out its because some are intransigent. I understand why we have sold Davies, I like him but he is not superman and the stats surprised me. Now if it was Killer going I would be far more concerned. By all accounts Cork fitted in well and Davies may not be available for weeks if not months. Is it better the club has the money in now or have it sitting on the treatment table? We have strengthened the team by his leaving as we have a fit player in the squad.
  19. Would you say that if we had Killer our results would not have improved then?
  20. no one has come back and defended his role in the 23 games where we won only 4 lost 9 and drew 10. It is hardly breathtaking and he was part of at least one of the 5 goal drubbings. He won us all over by his bravery and spirit but that doesnt mean he's a great footballer.Like Baird his lack of height and pace will be found out. If he is a success I 'll be delighted for him but their will be another hero who will come ofrward
  21. well as you and others have been taking the p### out of the manager to then fret that he might be taken from us is funny.
  22. a better comparison would be Baird and Davies.Money is tight and so some prices have dropped.Davies still hasnt got back from injury and so he is a risk
  23. I thought part of the skates terms that they werent able to come on the main board.
  24. no doubt some of it was ,but as we have been over time and again it was series of errors.
