  1. London location and the development potential made QPR a viable investment. Why did Mittal etc not buy Newcastle or Villa ? We are not such an attractive proposition as we think we are. We are not viewed as a big club and whilst I believe we have potential the money men dont.
  2. The incident at the time looked worse than it was and I could understand from the refs position why he did it. The disallowed goal would not have happened as KD didnt even try and stop it as the whistle had gone.
  3. As I see it, if we could find an acceptable alternative with some funds I would back it immediately. Fulthorpe has gone to ground and he was the last hope, although i didnt see his plans and so they might have been as weak as the Wilde bunchs. Wade as i say stay with us and give your support a little longer.Remember back to the hope of the last game last season and that adrenyline rush, even the away win at Derby and its times like that make days seem worthwhile.
  4. As I put earlier WHOEVER ran the club was required to rid us of any saleable asset if possible and bring the wage bill down. We did not have the luxury of setting rules to the bank. Saga and Rasiak would not be the difference, Davies might have helped but he is oput injured and still would be on the treatment table. It is a difficult problem
  5. Can you tell me how a player who played 23 times after costing 1m, out with a knee injury (we know how they can be trouble) and get a 1m profit is not fair Im surprised. He would still be out now of course and still weeks away from playing. That money was worth us being able to get Morgan and keep the bank at bay, so I see it as a fair deal.
  6. Wade non of us want to accept mediocrity. Do you not think really we'd like to be Man city or even QPR. We are in the mire because the powers that be whoever you like to blame did not make plans for after the parachute payments ceased. i dont think it was an experiment but the best way to stop us going into administration. I explain why I think this above. We need you and fans like you to carry on going to support the team, just give the team a bit more of your support, I know its hard but long after RL/LC or whoever we are Saints and the club is what we support.
  7. At the time i feared a red card would be shown. Even the very biased Holoway sadi it was unjust ,but I will not condemn that particular decision.
  8. A lot you say is true but Davies was not sold for peanuts , he would not be playing still and if the excesses carried on we would be -15 now. I dont believe that LC would have taken the tough decisions as he would not risk popularity. NP may be a great success but we dont know what he required of the club to stay on. Dont forget he loaned in 3 fairly high waged players to keep us up last time. We have to try and forget NP and keep calm.It is bleak and Jan made some poor decisions in selection /subs.Many thought Killer would be easily replaced by Cork , on todays performance I think not.
  9. Euell is out injured. We need that bloody witch again.Holmes getting injured was another blow as he was getting a good understanding with the others up front.
  10. Alpine please tell me how there is a different way. I can categorily tell you the banks backed Crouch as long as he agreed to sell anything he could. RL came in and implimented the restructuring. To inject new faces into the side to replace you have to go for the free option, and that is playing the reserves.Loans and any other signings cost considerable sums of money, unless you can players free of contract.I dont feel like an arguement about it, just give us a well thought out strategy that costs nunpence.
  11. Well said Derry.
  12. Tell me who is gagging to buy the club? LC would have had to sell the lot as well,we are paying for the excesses the last 2 seasons. If we stay out of administration that is a 15 point gain. Dont give up just yet, I know it is bleak but why not stay behind the team, they need us.
  13. Jan got it wrong. Why he didnt play Perry was a worry from the start. James should have stayed at the back post for the first goal, he was sucked in against Brum and the same today. With 10 men we were always likely to lose but how that linesman missed that offside is amazing. When the ball went in I immediately thought dont worry it will be cancelled out.TYhat was a vital decision, from then on we were doomed.DMG looked out of sorts and I was surprised John was not used.
  14. you are kidding
  15. the players care just a case of inexperience.
  16. I agree but isnt it strange that it is ok to have these contingencies under some management but when GB doubled up players positions it was wrong. To me it seems different mindsets to different people.
  17. and are employing cripples who we can get cheap because of a fleeting sense of loyalty to the club because of the past, but as a result dont ask for much money because they simply want to get a game. 2 quotes from Alpine, the lower one from last night when he showed his total disrespect for the achievement and pains Killer went though. He all of a sudden has gained some respect in the one today .
  18. I admit Im closer to Scooby and Sad old git than you and am more than happy with that.YOu fo course accept the other bit as you say you agree.
  19. Or perhaps I know people at the club and they have been telling me how things are going. Killer has been feeling his knee after each game as being sore but nothing sinister. The recent bit is new and could have happened at home for all we know. He was poor compared to his usual standard against Blackpool but he was still feeling his way back after a long layoff. As with our on field results we should wait and see.If the consultant is worried it may well be the end but it may also only be precautionary.
  20. Perhaps that may be the case Scooby has a sense of humour and Soggy is a person of intellect, Id rather be by their side in the trenches than a pannicky coward who wouldnt turn up as he couldnt be faffed as it might be on Teletext. So thnkyou for putting me alongside those 2.
  21. Killer is a massive player when he plays for us. You still are in denial when you say RL pushed Davies out of the door.If we could have saold 4 more players they would have gone whoever they were if the offer was right.
  22. Phil all reasonable, and something i would rather not had happened. May I add about the day before training not everyday does the manager go onto the training ground although I do agree GB was a very hands on coach. Do you think that a company director getting bladdered is ok in professional business who is making large financial decisions is ok . Surely double standards, they are both responsible for peoples living.
  23. Ellpie, the whole squad was for sale as we needed money.Davies would be foolish to turn down the increase in salary and the chance of PL football.Surely even the most rose tinted fan would accept he was not going to turn that down.
  24. True and if having a sore knee equates to being in agony , does having a sore head mean you are in agony? It is twisting words to support his arguement. Alpine is correct that something looks sinister by why should he worry as he only rates Svennson as a cripple anyway.
  25. The lies I was talking about had nothing to do with his opinion of GB. Thats his perogative, he made claims about things I had said and they were lies and distortions of the posts by myself and of posts he made. As for Scotland being third rate we must alos realise that we didnt make it to the Euros and so have little to crow about.
