You have to take into account that the club did not buy anybody and so he has been left with the tatered rabble who could only get 6 points until his arrival. I fail to see how we will bounce back up, that many fans were confident we would do so. The first I remember is Everton away 8-0 circa 1970, my brother came back from his paperround (days before any news , only got it from the World of Sport ITV or Grandstand BBC) and he asked me what was the score as it was half time and I told him it was 5-0 he didnt believe me lol Same season 7-0 Leeds away (always beng played as was on MotD) Ipswich was a 7-1 Charlton 7 (it may have been 6) Watford 7-0 Liverpool was it 7-1 and of course the 2, 9-0 games.
