I wouldn't be confident Tino is staying.
-
well his save against Salah was pretty decent and saved us from defeat.
-
He recommended the bid to the owners I think you will find. Didnt he himself say he had other offers.
-
Oh come on Duncan, Pearson really?? That boat sailed years ago. Sooner or later the fanbase has to come to terms that we are a Championship club and so back the manager. Im not sure there is a manager out there that will appease all.
-
Luckily the club didnt listen to the fans re Poch and back to Big Mac. We all believe we know best. The reality is that we are a Championship club with a fanbase that is disenchanted. We have a list of managers thrown to the dogs, as they in our opinion didnt fit certain sections taste. The list of people wanting to take us on has dropped in quality I myself was not rushed into headlong celebration with the new owners very early. Semmens was a good man but I wonder if he he got sucked in by the sales talk and now regrets choosing to go forward with their bid ?

I think VVD missed an easy header, I believe it was the Israeli team game away
-
Perhaps, , this I dont know. I just remember standing from years ago, but in the sanitised society we have now, I wouldn't be surprised.
-
Thats the problem, would you have after the first leg lol
-
How sad that the News is trying to make out it is 'agent Bazunu' Yep a footballer is going to trash his career to make them happy, they have enough players on their books trashing their own careers playing for them
-
Personally I feel that VVD and others missed absolute sitters in games that we should have won as much as Puels fault. God we missed some glorious chances
-
No need for the abuse. It will increase their allocation.
-
Are we plumbing these depths, it is really sobering thinking about it
-
No I didn't. WGS always had something. So you think Rowett is good enough?/ If you were championing Mark Robins then I think you'd be on the right lines but watching Millwall play!!!, and the nonsense that Jones got, who is a more successful manager in that league imo

Rate The Players - Effort & Commitment - not ability
OldNick replied to Toussaint's topic in The Saints
All I can say is if the players after the game who give the fans time can be used as how to rate them. My daughter and grand daughter waited after the game Moi was superb and couldn't give enough time and was very kind even helping taking a photo Bazunu was good as well Theo spent as long as anybody Tino walked past and ignored the fans! JWP had his wife drive to the front of the ground and jumped in and drove off Lavia was exceptional, spending lots of time with the fans, signing etc. He also went out of his way to find a pen to sign a shirt for her. She has not left it since Saturday and is carrying it around with her. Absolutely thrilled. There were others but I cant actually recall who they said. -
Gary Rowett!! Really? Oh my giddy aunt
-
Really, we are thinking of giving safe standing in the away end as well. FFs this club are full of buffoons. Giving the away even more help to increase their support. If it was me Id build a wall for them all to stand behind so they couldnt impact the game
-
I dont think we can mock that after Saturday!

If we kept Puel we'd still be competing for Europe, I still believe that sacking was the start of where we are. We followed him with a couple of appalling appointments before Ralph came in. I used to go to games thinking we will win today, in the last 2-3 seasons when do we go to games with the confidence we will win??? It is a long gone feeling.
-
I dont think Jones was the right choice but he may have got more fight. At the end of the day Ralph had run his course. I saw on Twitter someone had put a chart of the last half of last season and this seasons results, it was incredible the amount of L's. It was hopeless and Ings goals the season before may well have been the reason we arent where we are now sooner.
-
I dont get the part where you say he did well keeping us up. That was his job, he should have demanded a forward. Telling the club and squad that he was retiring was stupid as well. As happened with Strachan as soon as he stated that there was a falloff by the players. If Jones had stayed I think we would have had more points, but that means nothing as well. One thing is for certain Selles had 15 games and his negative and stubborn managing the team selection cost us dearly
-
All this about the fans not giving it to them. Frankly the stuffing has been knocked out of for 18 months of absolute depressing football. No hope, no entertainment.
-
Just sick of the told you so idiots
-
When the players stood looking at the fans the other night doing nothing, I didnt realise they were practising for todays game
-
Oh ffs dont bring that clown into our thoughts
