DT, There is not a keeper in the history of football you have said a good word about LOL. AM is not a world class keeper but he does save shots unlike our ball playing keeper who is injured. AM will come for the ball and that was important in games eg WBA and Leeds. His command of the area took pressure off the defence and we did seem more solid. As for Ramsdale, dont forget he has been relegated twice when being the keeper

I will be very disappointed to see Tall Paul go, especially for 7-8 million. We wont get much of a forward for that money and TP will add a bit to our game especially for a plan b/C option. Well the gov has given the junior doctors 22% wage increase and now the Train drivers 14% increase, seems its going to be a bountiful time for any workforce with a powerful union. what were we then 5th or 6th best? Just because we beat Leeds last game of the season hardly makes us PL. We lost to Stoke the week before I think you will find, so then we may have been 15th best side. Point is we went up by winning the play off competition and were brilliant doing so, it doesnt paint over the fact that our squad was not PL standard and time will see how we get on. It was heartening that RM did seem to change his tactics and adapted well. Im not certain how we will fare, but fully aware we may have a miserable year, but also we may surprise a few people.

Im all for giving a good run, modern defenders wont like a big forward up against them. He gives a different dimension to our game. If RM could mould him into our system us fretting about a forward could diminish. I read just now that Ings is on 130k pw at WHU and they will let him g on a free, he has already turned up down apparently.
