I think it is a very appropriate game. Man City dont like it up them and he will be a handful for an defence. Those games where we needed a late goal and he wasnt utilised!! Not only in attack but defending set pieces as well

We only have that foreign country these days

what an exciting team. Sadly the big clubs came and took them from us, leaving just MLT who would have been taken away as well if it wasnt for his wife. Rodney Wallace and MLT my favourite pairing, although Ekelund and Matt were awesome before injury ruined that before they really shone.

Has Andy Townsend got off his arse yet. The way MLT sat him down lol
-
The way Matt and Rodney Wallace combined was magical that day.

He is our saviour, been calling for him for a long time. Like Crouch he is seen to be tarred by the same brush, with people thinking he is only there for headers when he is decent on the ground. He also is strong , giving the opposition centre backs a torrid time. He made a good flick on to send Kameldeen through Play him in the middle wit Archer and Adam on each wing. Give Tyler a rest out of the firing line (cant expect to hang your hat on an 18yr old )

Roger Milford s others have mentioned. We had such an exciting team of kids Shearer, Wallaces and MLT but he just loved himself and played on until Oldham equalised. We then played them on a plastic pitch and lost. Robbed

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

That's it click on the bit that suits your argument lol. How about the last week?, yes we are back to about where we were when Labour came to power. Lets hope all will be good for the pound, it helps us all and the greater economy. -

That may be a rather good point. So far she has frightened the electorate spreading stories that we are going to have a terrible time. 22bn blackhole, but Im not going to tell you where I got those figures. Factory orders down as people are sitting on their hands, people not investing as they are unsure what the tax implications are going to be. I truly hope she does know what she is doing, as I want our nation to succeed and all have a decent time, but if she gets it wrong we are in for a long struggle. Ive seen too many recessions and dont wish to see another. -

I saw that the pound was down on the dollar, yes it was up this year but that was more with the confidence of the last chancellor,(not that is much to go on). The dollar is stronger against the pound this week and up more if you go back weeks. 'wee bit' still adds its costs to our economy -

Where did I say not give people a wage rise?? If you believe 20% plus wage rises do not effect us all then you are a bit foolish. The doors have been opened and we will see if we can see modest wage rises or people believing if they get it why not us. Do you also not realise that wage inflation comes around and bite us with the prices passed on to the man in the street. So everyones disposable income is squeezed. Its like going back to Harold Wilson and his bunch -

So you think I didnt criticise the last gov?? lol. Yes im more right leaning but not to any barmy politics. You seem to be able to forgive anything that your preferred party is serving up. So far they have given pay rises that will feed other workers to expect, all these costs go on to the final price. The doctors bill will also extra add ons eg NI and bulked up pensions, all coming out of the NHS budget. So they fill a hole (apparently 22BN) with one shovel while at the same digging the hole out at the same time. I have just read that Rayner and co have balsed up a 1bn investment by P&O as they called them unscrupulous and exploitative before an important meeting. It just shows how foolish these are when it comes to business and basic diplomacy. Potentially this will cost jobs, all of us will feel the pain and as always the poorest will be the ones who really hurt. All from a party who say they care for those people. We hold our breath until the Budget, it is sad to see the pound at its lowest to the dollar for a long time, something that again costs us as consumers as all our energy is paid for in dollars. Im not some kind of financial whizzkid but I do know we are heading for a very tough time and your heroes are adding to it -
Just spoke to my Brighton fan mate and he said Potter played exciting football getting them top 8. Their main problem was having someone to put the ball in the net,

I suggest Wolves have a better case for removing their manager more than us. Our squad is weak and I doubt a decent manager looking in from afar will be remotely interested in risking their reputation with the fare on offer. We seem to be relying on an 18 year old kid to save the clubs season, it is madness. IMO we should have used the Ramsdale money to buy a top grade forward, as much as I like him, he hasnt shored up the defence and has let in loads (not his fault)

Problem is that when if it was a Tory you'd be all over and talking corruption etc, but as its your preferred politics its a case it doesn't matter. Getting tickets and preferential treatment when you are in power is done not because they like the individual its in the hope what influence or what they may get back in return. Do you really believe that the man who gave Starmers thousands of pounds worth of gifts would have done so ,if there wasnt a hope of a return in the future? They are all at the trough whatever the colour. -
Shame I haven't the image of the un-ironed sheet that was laid on the table for that Pompey fans event
-
Thts intentionally designed so tat their fans leave the stadium quicker when they are losing

I can understand the fans being unhappy, but surely you all must have known we were going to have a poor season with the squad we have? I was very sceptical from the first games of the season but still enjoyed the 25 game unbeaten run. I really only got more on board with RM right at the end of the season when he changed and seemed to be more pragmatic. He went a bit against his football ideology and mixed it u a bit, that encouraged me a tad. It does seem to me that the fans crave the fix of a new manager every 10 games or so, one minute they are eating out of his hands and lapping him up the next acting like a woman scorned! Id love to have the time to read back from all the naysayers posts after Wembley, not a peep then of course.

So they would walk into all the other PL teams in your opinion I assume?
-
Nail on head. Thankfully the load of spoilt kids we have on here at times is not a fair reflection of our fanbase. Most fans I believe realise that we dot have a top level squad and realistic to know it is going to be a hard season. I read last season how the brains on here were saying that Flynn and THB were destined for greatness, well the harsh truth is that they are both lower PL players at best. They both may get better but we need Flynn to start winning midfield battles. RM is adapting and I was pleased he has pulled TP out from the cold and now will gain confidence to play him more. Although many think TP is no good, but I have faith in him to prove fans wrong
