  1. Well you think he's a poor manager, so a subjective viewpoint. Iam not fully in the in or out camp with him, but I know your previous history with people at Saints that if they give you the wrong glance you are at them and niggling away. I dont care for the tippy tappy football , and Peps version is dull for long periods but I support the team and can see that we are hamstrung with a top Championship squad trying to survive in the PL. If you seriously believe Potter, whose stock is still high is going to risk it at a team that 95% certain to go down, then you the most 'boat-rocking' fan we have, then good luck to you in your fantasy world. If Potter comes then I will be more than happy to come on here and with capital letters offer a grovelling apology to you. Something I very much doubt that you would do with your own thoughts of your own grandeur
  2. We are not relegated yet, probably will be but.. Now tell us who you think should come in?
  3. It is a nonsense, and a waste of time. If the ref said he thought it was Armstrong interfering then they only had agree that not whether Archer was.
  4. Yes without VAR but once it was proved Archer was onside the decision to then penalise Armstrong was wrong. It seems the majority of non Saints fans feel we were done
  5. well he is a useless keeper if he is looking at Armstrong instead of Fraser who is crossing the ball, it is all subjective I believe it was a bad error by the officials that has cost us.
  6. If os why spen 4 minutes checking whether Archer was offside
  7. He was looking at Fraser , his defender was more in his vision.
  8. But if the ref has he was interfering and so that doesnt matter about Archer off or on
  9. ANother thig, if the ref knew he was going to disallow it for interfering why did he let it go to VAR?
  10. No I dont think it was then, I feel it was after we had signed Armstrong
  11. But they cleared it as onside re Archer, and I suspect the lino gave Archer offside and so wrong.
  12. were you on VAR last night ? Centre of the goal lol
  13. There would be Breaking News on Sky if this list was about Liverpool or Man Utd, reporters at the ground and hour long programmes on Five Live
  14. For those advocating Moyes On 22 May 2017, Moyes resigned as Sunderland manager after the club finished bottom of the Premier League
  15. Interfering with play I thought
  16. I thought Manning played well and did well for our goal. Our support superb throughout
  17. Great CB so who do you suggest will come? Potter wouldnt go to Leicester so he wont us, January transfer window is notoriously expensive and difficult. Therefore what manager will want to take this squad on, knowing that paying off RM will take most of our budget. People mention Moyes On 22 May 2017, Moyes resigned as Sunderland manager after the club finished bottom of the Premier League So no quick fixes out there. Grin and bear it, we are improving, the fans last night were superb and behind the team all game. RM is tweaking the team and learning, therefore I will stick with him although not fully convinced.

I dont think so. He may be a god to us but hard headed football clubs wont. I do wonder if Chelsea put in a clause when he returned back to us
  19. that would work well im sure, constructive dismissal comes to mind as they would have made his position impossible
  20. I dont know how those scarf sellers are allowed, surely they should have to have street traders licences?
  21. I agree our fans have a real misjudgement of the quality of our squad compared to the rest. We are pinning our hopes on an 18year old kid. I cant see many PL clubs chasing any of our players in January apart from Tyler, and KWP looking to get him cheap
  22. Hard to prove though I suggest,in theory he would only have to show his keeper kicking the ball long twice a game instead of once and he could say he has changed.
  23. To be fair I thought he coped with losing 2 important players well and surprised us with FD's role and it nearly worked. Its just the way he makes players of average ball playing ability to to do stuff that is a bit complicated
  24. Of course he can be told to change but what can the club do if he refuses, the club could then sack him and all the costs that entails
  25. He is not responsible for everything but he has it ingrained that we have to keep possession at all costs. The 'risk and reward' approach. To me the rewards are about as useful as money back coupons on Durex in a Nunnery
