  1. Have we seen enough of Taylor? If my memory serves me right he created lots of chances for the big man at Burnley and so he may be perfect for TP.
  2. One thing for certain is that it wasnt Rasmus who unearthed Frank
  3. Our recruitment team who do the analysis on players, are downright useless. Who whoever is in charge of the much vaunted black box must have put my old mum in charge of pressing the buttons, as anybody with any nous has not been near it for 10 years. As Ive mentioned countless times our best signing would be Bournemouth's scouting team or Brentfords.
  4. Firstly when I replied to the original stating ' youre plain wrong' it was about the ridiculous term stealing a living. My next point is, for someone to have a user name of one of most useless and selfish footballers in decades to play for us and then have the audacity to say the players are at fault. A player who refused to go on to the pitch in a Cup final as he was sulking at not being picked, a player who made such deep crop circles in the pitch with his constant going in circles , that Im surprised the pitch has recovered. So before blaming the players now ( not that they are above reproach) I would have a look at your choice of hero.
  5. Im concerned that we think we have a squad that will just roll over the other sides. It wont be like that and if you think it will you will have a bit of a jolt
  6. He was right about a lot of things. As each season goes by we see any hope of the smaller clubs getting close to the big 6 Although to be fair Forest are having a go, but like the season Leicester won the league the real players were in transition and so Forest can be up there but we all know that can't last.
  7. That is plain wrong imo.
  8. If Carlsberg did New manager bounce, they'd bloody stay clear of Saints
  9. Well, if it was a plan, you know you have at least a season to prepare. As I mentioned before Everton and Forest did not receive their punishment the same season and built a squad that was able to take the punishment. BTW I dont advocate to do it but just a theory after seeing how othrs have laughed at the rules and got around them.
  10. Did I say from this point? Obviously not where we are as we havent purchased the players to enable us to be in a position where a minus 10 would be critical. Forest and Everton received theirs after a year or so after they had made a competitive squad.
  11. I dont know why you are insulting people. If you believe RM did anything but discourage TP then you are not as bright as you believe you are. TP is to RM idea of style of play that Rachel Reeve is to an employer.
  12. All teams in history have played the ball around the back to a degree, not the fanatical way a few clubs are doing now. RM was such a disciple to it, we are being punished for that madness. In just 2 games the more sensible way has shown that the chances against us has been reduced dramatically. In my opinion, the players lost their faith in the style of play and perhaps delighted to have the freedom of playing the game that they first played the game. If i appear stupid then i'm doing a good job as Iam. I live a life that most would dream of and so Im not doing too badly.
  13. Im not sure which teams that play it around the back are doing well. Even Man City are now struggling. As for your taking a minus 10 point reduction is stupid, well Everton and Forest who both outspent, thus making their squads more than capable of staying up may be better than having a squad of Championship players
  14. Amazing we give him a short contract but gave so many long terms
  15. Martin only gave him game time at the last knockings. He has fallen on his sword by being absolutely unable to change his conviction of his possession based football. He deserved to be sacked in the end due It was heresy in his eyes the thought of playing a ball high into the box and I recall that one game we had the chance to play the ball from a set play in when we were 1 down in injury time and the ball went back to Ramsdale. It is interesting to see that the clubs who are playing the ball around the back are now seemingly struggling. It has been worked out, especially against the less skilled teams at the lower reaches of the league. It is a fad and unless you have extremely highly skilled players throughout the team it is hard to put into practice.
  16. Im not sure if I had the choice, was I asked? If the clubs voted for it then I suppose so but Leicester did not get a penalty and so was the intention that if you wronged you got a penalty?
  17. All opinions, but I love watching him but he is still learning and perhaps we will get the most for him financially now. Come the summer the vultures will be around
  18. I read that we and other clubs promoted are hampered by FFP rules. I wonder what are the sanctions, is it 10 point penalty. If so it may be worth that to try and strengthen the squad like Forest, Leicester and Everton did as the penalties never covered what they gained. Leicester never even got theirs !! I may be talking nonsense but if it is a 10 point penalty worth the gamble as the way it going if you get promoted youre going to go down dismally anyway
  19. Its going to his head. His mind seems to have been scrambled by his agent. He should have set up TP for a tap in. He is greedy and doesn't seem to look for players in a better position. Great potential, but if we could get a good fee for him January and sign a more proven PL player then I would sell. Afterall he wont be here after the summer and so why not get the money in to invest to try and help us now
  20. Yeah theres loads of those out there who will be gagging to play for a side who are likely to be relegated
  21. Controversial as you're wrong. Get the first and more will come. Hes snatching a bit as he so wants it
  22. I find it funny that all these football fans who with the slight snivel are bed bound and cant work for days, sneer at someone with a debilitating injury. Yes he left after we were relegated but after a ex Saints footballer called him out feigning injury (which it wasnt) and the lack of respect given to him , no doubt helped hm to be keen to leave. Apparently there were many players knocking on the managers door wanting to leave including JWP but thats ok as he's one of us lol
  23. Im sure your reply is tongue in cheek, but I have been carrying a frozen shoulder for 18 months, Apart from the sleepless nights the pain is pretty fierce. Therefore I totally understand why he couldn't play. As for a knee injury again it is debilitating
  24. Would help if he had a run of games not last few minute snippets. When we played Liverpool he gave them one of their hardest games of the season and bullied VVD and Konate. Give him 5 full games to prove one way or another, AA has had at least 12 and scored a rebound off a penalty, he may have got another but not sure
  25. For extra context this is Saints who let goals in for fun
