VAR what a waste
-
Penalty nailed on
-
Was passed him in a flash he absolutely nailed that one, if it hit Gun it would have taken his head off!
-
Could easily go that way Scotland are nowhere near the necessary standard.
-
Was awful he got a huge hand on it and pushed it in the corner! expect they will get battered now as Germany can just toy with them.
-
As a club notorious for doing are transfer business late in the window this would seem a really odd move it’s not like he is a hot property at a rock bottom price!

Just had a chance to tell Rupert Lowe's audience a few truths.....

I had totally missed that old rupes had become a Brexit fantasist I guess it fits with the stinking turd that was the rest of his career! I wouldn’t have gone out of the house for this event but if you felt the need to express your democratic right then so be it. -
Anyone in clacton deluded enough to vote for the useless grifter that is Farage deserves everything they get. He clearly has no interest in the area of the people and is just using them to further his own personal interests and milk a few more quid from the terminally dumb. Listening the MEP with on of the worst attendance records in history spout about the difference he made in that forum is galling and the fact hundreds show up to lap it up is embarrassing. still less votes and less seat for the Tory party do even the Farage cloud has a silver lining!
-
That’s because your a fan and nobody is dangling ridiculous sums of money in front of you, current footballers are looking to set their families up for generations you are crazy not to milk it for every penny you can get. Ings injury record also brings things into sharper focus he will be acutely aware it could all be over any moment.

One word 'WAGES' oh and what if we get relegated after a season having gambled on staying up...... who is going to fund the gap to the 305 from the 150 or so we'd get for a season?
-
Surely the renewal period is going to be crazy as 90% of the northam looks to relocate the the chapel/kings land stand so they can spend 90 minutes making coffee bean gestures and acting all hard towards the away fans while singing about pompey and ignoring the actual football?
-
Will be sad to see him go but I can certainly see the attraction. He’s always given 100% for the team played where ever he’s been asked and really put in a shift this season showing how far above championship level he is. Good luck to him and hope he bags himself a bumper deal at a decent club who give him the game time his talent deserves.
-
Of course they wanted it more, they are fighting for promotion and the title we are waiting for the play offs
-
Neither is never conceding any goals and nobody said you need to score 3/4 goals to win a game you only need 1 some weeks but when you create a glut of clear cut chances in the first half and don’t put the game beyond the opposition you are in trouble as Chelsea found out today, they dominated the first half against city failed to take there chances and were then undone at the other end late on. I’m not saying our defence isn’t a worry but it isn’t the main reason we lost today.
-
football has always been this way it’s just the sums of money involved have got bigger and the top clubs are slowly but surely concentrating the wealth and power.
-
If you score 4 in the first half hour you don’t loose simple, the club gambled on a crocked striker and that combined with a dodgy spell as the transfer window closed has cost us our season. Had we not had that dreadful 4/5 game run we would be going up and I think if we had a better striker we would be going up. I had hoped Che would step up at this level but he has been a dissapointment and AA has gone off the boil at critical moments with nobody to take the weight off him.
-
Now that’s just silly and failing to understand the statistics. If they were totally useless then the professionals in the game wouldn’t use them and the outcome of them wouldn’t so closely align with the good players and the not so good. Baz is a half decent goal keeper but as the stats confirm he isn’t in the top drawer which I think even the most casual observer would agree with.
-
Hard to say as championship sides are so transient, if we don’t go up will we find such great value in the loan market again? Will we manage to replace the contracted players with similar quality? Same can be said for all the other top teams in the league. I said in September when we couldn’t buy a win that automatic promotion was gone and sadly that looks to be the case. It will be annoying if we break 90 points and still get to rot in the play offs, if that is the case I hope Leeds and Leicester go up as I’d much rather play Ipswich!
-
Agree, if we get promoted I think he is a realistic signing otherwise our only hope would be another loan deal.
-
Sadly Charisma and competence/integrity don’t always go hand in hand! Boris had plenty of charisma…..
-
What he’s saying is he’s like RM to take his share of the blame when things are dire and then reflect and improve things for the next game, no point accepting the blame if you don’t learn anything! Manning keeps appearing despite being possibly our worst left back since Patric Colleter pulled in the shirt and we insist of playing every single ball out from the back inviting pressure because it is so predictable we need to mix it up just a tiny little bit. Saying you accept the blame but not changing is like a toddler saying sorry to get a toy back …. utterly meaningless. Anyway COYS great result and we still have a chance of the automatic spots.
-
A rounding error on the daily salary bill! The club should certainly buy it.
-
Agreed, he was a total flop at saints, felt horribly out of his depth and seemingly never had the players with him. None of that means he won’t find success with his hoof ball elsewhere, it worked at Luton after all. one thing I think we can all agree on though is that he is not one of the best managers in Europe 😂
-
I just checked and clumsy isn’t another word for terrible, awful, dire or stupid. What really got me was the way he was protesting to the referee when he got a yellow when he should have been thanking his lucky stars! I’m can’t stand VAR but that is a perfect example of how it should work, the ref makes clear and obvious error the TV picks it up and quickly corrects the on field decision.

We were going to loose eventually, hopefully it’s the kick up the backside we need to push on which I guess we will see on Friday night. What ever happens if we don’t go up this year it won’t be an away game at Bristol City that cost us it will always be the terrible run while we were settling into the new system post JWP leaving. Disappointed to loose but it is how we bounce back that’s important (even Leicester have lost a couple!)
