  1. We won't beat Watford without Armstrong. Hugely important to us playing 4-3-3 with a high intensity.
  2.
  3. 7 points from these games imo. I actually think we'll beat Norwich as they'll come and attack us but Watford we'll struggle with. They still have some very decent players (Pereyra, Deulofeu, Doucoure) and Deeney vs Stephens is a bit worrying! Doucoure has apparently had a shocker this season so hopefully that continues. Watford D Norwich W Newcastle D West Ham L Villa D Chelsea L Palace D
  4. It definitely is. That's like saying cb isn't a priority because we have loads of em. Cedric is useless and Valery can only be ok when in a 5.
  5. Bowen has looked class when I've watched him but nowhere near a priority. A RB, CM then CB are the clear priorities.
  6. Would like to see.. McCarthy Valery, Stephens, Bednarek, Bertrand JWP, Romeu, Armstrong Djenepo, Ings, Boufal Might have to consider replacing stephens too if Deeney's going to start
  7. Good performance, terrible result. I think Watford and Villa would've won there today, Arsenal were truly shocking. We're going down.
  8. Thought it couldn't get any worse then I see Obafemi in the XI.
  9. been back in training this week
  10. The Independent has been told that Gao has been interested in selling his 80 per cent share in the club for up to six months, with an asking price being mooted at £200m." https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/southampton-news-sale-gao-jisheng-owner-ralph-hasenhuttl-arsenal-epl-a9213571.html
  11. 4-2-2-2 away at arsenal
  12. Thought it was brilliant. Has hit over 100k views in 48 hours
  13. COPA 90's derby day series is the best thing on youtube! Looking forward to watching this
  14. Said at 2pm yesterday it was an absolute disaster of a lineup. What was he thinking putting stu at RWB. Second goal Cedric would've tucked in if he was in that position. Has to go back to a back four after the Arsenal game. Only way we'll even compete to stay up this year is with 4 points from those two games.

Anyone know how Sam McQueen is doing? Heard he did the squad photo so surely isn't that far away. Always thought he was a decent squad option. Will have to play u23's for a while I guess.
  17. If Djenepo is fit... Saints - Everton - Draw Arsenal - Saints - Draw Saints - Watford - Win Saints - Norwich - Win Newcastle - Saints - Lose Got to be getting minimum of four points from Watford and Norwich.
  18. Superb effort today, Stephens, Vestergaard and Valery brilliant. Onto a decent run of games now. Think we can cause Everton and Arsenal problems on the counter
  19. it's just because hes in the spl. Truly awful player
  20. McCarthy, Valery, Danso, Bednarek, Stephens, Cedric Romeu, Hojbjerg Armstrong Redmond, Adams Thought Armstrong was poor last night but deserves another chance, especially after Prowsey's amount of chances. I can only assume Adams is starting this one.. he's had a pretty unlucky start at saints but playing Long (who's not even quick anymore) over him last night was a joke. Djenepo and Ings on in the last 30 if we're within 2 goals.
  21. Embarrassing peformance for an hour then City just relaxed. Good to see a Gao out banner in the away end
  22. Think it'll be a lot closer than some are suggesting tomorrow night
  23. incredble that Vestergaard is getting more stick than Yoshida for Friday, Yoshida always has and always will be a championship defender
  24. Sheffield United, Norwich and Newcastle to go down imo. Think we'll just have enough.. again. But still another season of dire football
  25. Terribly lineup. Would've liked to see McCarthy, Danso, Armstrong and Adams come in today and freshen things up. Hope to be proved wrong!
