I'm on Virgin. Been using Linksys for years. Made by Cisco and no problems.

Tony Adams. Despite his "donkey" image, he comes across as an intelligent, thoughtful bloke. Doesn't try to blame anyone else for his booze problems, he faced up to them and accepts that he can't touch alcohol any more.

Make sure that you check the cartridge capacity. We've got about 150 HP printers and decided to try a few Canon IP4600's. Nice-looking printer but slow and the colour cartridges are very small and only last a very short time.

Had no problem with an indoor aerial, but we can see the transmitter on the IOW on a clear day.

I've got an ntlworld.com address but it no longer works with Thunderbird using POP3 even after changing the settings as specified on the website. However, it's OK accessing it from a browser, so I use that.

Sodium Chlorate (weedkiller) and sugar. This is not to be recommended. It can be rather unstable. When I was a nipper, a mate lost the end of 2 fingers when it went off unexpectedly.

About 90 minutes. Herbie has plenty of anecdotes and really knows his Saints history. When I took Mrs ecuk268, I let Herbie know that it was her birthday and he produced a signed Saints birthday card. She's not particularly into footy but really enjoyed the tour. Even if you go to all the Saints games and think you know the stadium, it's still worth doing. You even get to sit in the cells (although some on here may have done that already).

And the government is advised by the security services who have to justify the vast amounts of money that they cost. No different to the US forces exaggerating the Soviet threat during the Cold War so that they got lots of shiny toys to play with.

Tesco's own-brand Lard is quite good. You can also use it to roast your spuds (about 40 minutes, gas mark 8 )

I've parked in the top end of the M&S car park before with no problems. They only seem to check for the International games.

I didn't know that Jews used different shaving cream.

"1940 - Myth and Reality" by Clive Ponting. Well researched book about the difference in how 1940 is portrayed and how it actually was. Eg. Churchill's famous speeches (finest hour, nothing to offer but blood etc) were made to Parliament. He refused to repeat them for the BBC so they hired a children's radio entertainer to impersonate him. There are no recordings of the actual speeches. The "little ships" at Dunkirk only took about 8% of the evacuees. The Royal Navy took the rest. While making his patriotic speeches, Churchill's Government was very active in putting out feelers for a negotiated peace. Many of the files from this time are still closed. Probably necessary to maintain morale (which was extremely low) but shows the truth in the saying "In war, the first casualty is truth".

For once I agree with Dune. I took GCE O levels bacjk in the late 60's. Found my old exam papers the other day and was surprised how advanced the maths papers were. Lots of calculus - differentiation and intergration. Don't see much of that in GCSE. I passed by the way.

So, where in Yorkshire do they grow this tea?

I see that poor old Kevin says that his Hampshire future is in doubt because of the difficulty of travelling from his Chelsea home to the Rosebowl. Considering how many times that he's played for Hampshire in the last few years, I can't see the problem. Does he not realise that thousands commute every day from this part of the world to London? He'll be no great loss if he goes.

She was one of the parliamentary candidates who signed a pledge that they would 'respect, uphold and protect the right of Christians to hold and express Christian beliefs and act according to Christian conscience'. It was produced by Christians together with their Westminster 2010 Declaration of Christian Conscience before the election. A clause on marriage in the declaration states: 'We pledge to support marriage - the lifelong covenantal union of one man and one woman as husband and wife. We believe it is divinely ordained, the only context for sexual intercourse.'

Definitely not. There's quite a few of us non tea-drinkers out there. We keep quiet for fear of ridicule.

The old one saved my username and password. This one doesn't appear to or am I missing something?

As it was printed in a newspaper (Echo) I assume that it qualifies as news.

I see that my local Tory MP has been doing her bit to uphold family values by ****ging some bloke 10 years younger than herself, despite having a husband and 11-year old son. As he's also a Tory, does that make it OK?

Percy Daltons Nuts. Still going strong, apparently.

Denis Rofe's half-time talks. Sometime hilarious, sometimes embarrassing (mainly embarrassing).
