Confirmed JWP own goal.

Perhaps you could list the benefits for us after 3 years.

How about the St Mary's car park before the Brighton game? Might be more entertaining than the match.

As the scoreline suggests, a pretty comfortable win in the end. Maybe a bit complacent after the win at Colchester, Saints didn't start well. Colchester were knocking the ball around neatly and deserved to take the lead, This seemed to wake Saints up and, after the first goal, they got stronger never looked in danger of losing. Brass monkeys weather. A mostly empty stadium always seems colder.

They're playing Colchester at St Marys on Friday evening at 19.00. Might go along, only £3.00.

That's one of the problems with kid's football. Do you go all out to win and only select the best players or do you give everyone a chance and not get too bothered about results? When my lad played in the Tyro League, Winsor were the standout side but, no matter how long you'd been with them, if they found someone better you'd be out. I used to go to all his games and it was interesting to see the difference between different clubs. Sone went all out to win but others just wanted the kids to enjoy themselves even if they weren't that good.

At this stage of the season in 1998 we had 6 points. Ended up 5 points clear of the bottom 3.

The north side of my town was facing east and the east was facing south.

It wasn't all wine and roses for us baby boomers. We got our first mortgage in 1975 and then the interest rates went through the roof.

I see that the B team have 3 away games in November and 3 home games in December. As we will be starved of live football, I wonder if they would consider playing them at St Marys?

I think that when the older Mr Kuti was holidaying courtesy of Her Majesty the restaurant was at the top of London Road. -

I live just up the road. The sign on their parking space still says "Sunak Pharmacy". -
But are they being held to account? We hear of these bad events in hospitals, old people's homes and children's homes but is anyone sacked or prosecuted? We get the same old "lessons will be learnt" bollox and maybe a few of the junior people may be reprimanded when in truth, it should be the people at the top who should be held to account. Even if a senior manager resigns they often later appear at another authority. Harry Truman had a plaque on his desk "The Buck Stops Here". It should apply to all those at the top of these organisations.

Took my lad to his first away game in mid-October '98. It was at Highbury and we went into the game with a grand total of 1 point. Managed a 1-1 draw and doubled our points total.
