Archer is younger and hasn't had a huge amount of time to prove himself so I agree, it's fair enough that he's still here.

It's also odd that we sent Cornet back but didn't sign someone else on loan instead. I know Cornet was never going to play but at least use that loan slot on someone who could potentially help us.

Indeed and the latest 3 year period has just ended. Hoping if we can go straight back up we'll be in a better position to compete (more money to spend, new DOF and a better manager)

Although it seems we are in a healthier position financially this time around. Of course players will leave but the wage bill is a lot lower compared to two years ago.

Yeah probably something to do with being hauled off against Forest then not selected against Newcastle. He has been really poor this season though. A few of Martin's besties aren't faring too well under Juric. Downes, Manning, Fraser all out of favour.

Possibly but he announced he was leaving at the end of his contract anyway. He was clearly struggling, bloke seemed really worn down by the job.

He is a pretty limited player overall but I still think he'll score goals if you give him the service inside the box.

We look a lot better going forwards and just as bad at the back. So, a clear improvement in my eyes.
