There have certainly been more positive signs in the last two games but it needs to be translated into wins now. Weirdly Manning has been better in the Premier League than he was in the Championship.

I think people are annoyed because they can see glimpses that we could actually be a half decent side. The reason we have so many players suspended is because they are continuously giving the ball away and having to foul to stop the opposition players taking advantage. A few times tonight we went more direct and looked a real threat. If we can do that more and cut back on the stupid passing out from the back then great.

Yeah, have you ever seen a keeper stand at the back post when a cross is coming in?? No way is he saving Archers shot whether Armstrong is there or not.

KWP, Downes, McCarthy, THB, Bednarek, Stephens, Sugawara. They've all made mistakes leading to goals this season. Not necessarily because they are bad players but because they are put under so much stress due to the style of play. Absolutely no way we would be making this many errors with a a half normal manager in charge.

Russ won't be sacked but if he was we'd basically be making an appointment with the Championship in mind next season - different from last time we were in the prem as we very much still had a chance then.
