There were positives - Ugochukwu, KWP was better, Onuachu (apart from his finishing) and we generally looked pretty solid apart from their goal. Good to see us actually getting the ball forwards and creating chances.

Yes Fernandes should have scored his. Onuachu was facing away from goal and forced Fabianski into a very good save, half chance at best. The other two he needs to do better with though.

Exactly this. The performance wasn't great, but we were playing an in form Fulham team and I think we all would have taken a draw before the game. The only differences between the Fulham game and the Wolves/Villa games were we didn't gift the opposition a goal and we restricted the number of shots on our goal, due to a much more pragmatic game plan that we've been crying out for.

Macca is right, Dibling has looked a bit out of sorts and does look tired - he's a young lad playing in a high intensity league and has never had the best fitness. I'd be surprised if he started tomorrow and against Palace.

I'd be surprised if we tried to press loads in his first few matches. Unfortunately it's going to take time to get this side fit, something we don't really have at the moment. He may have to implement things slower than everyone would ideally like.
