First half was awful. Cedric looked shocking and just couldn't do anything right. Long didn't get any supply so I can't fault him for being quiet. Redmond put in a good display but he's too small and gets constantly muscled off the ball. Hojburg should have been on sooner- really stiffened up the midfield and changed it for us. I thought Pied was positive when he came on, always looking to take them on and get the cross in. We really needed Fonte in defence - YOshida was too rusty. Tadic and Van Dijk were very good

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for wrecking the therapy I have had to pay for since the last time that pic was posted. I am typing this from under my duvet, scared to go outside due to the thought that I inhabit the same island and might meet that.

So let's think about this shall we? You're one goal up, you have a player sent off so what do you do? You defend the lead you have you don't try and do anything other than defend and maybe hit them on the break. Skates crying about it clearly demonstrates their lack of understanding. If I were them I'd be more worried about their team playing 60 minutes with a one man advantage and only coming away with a point. Hardly what you'd expect from a team that's supposed to be winning the league this season.

Let's be honest. This year SHOULD be their year after 3 seasons of impressing us with their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. If they truly have the resources they keep banging on about, constructing a squad to get out of league two is surely a mere exercise in bringing in the right players to compliment the wealth of talent they already have. Right?

Oh can you imagine the meltdown on POL if they get beaten?

Think of it this way..... They only need to be worse than three other teams over the season and they are back into the playoff lottery......

I can only say that they continue to amaze me every season. They are definitely very special. I'm reminded that, at the start of last season I said it would be hilarious if they missed out on promotion and also pretty hard for them to do, however they managed to achieve this. I can only assume that they are going to do it this season however given their behaviour in the transfer market so far where they seem intent on replacing the entire squad (again) I'm willing to bet on them staying down again. And that makes me wonder - how long can they exist on the money that league two pays?
