The problem is, a player gives an interview, gets asked 'who would you like to play for' and then the media cherry pick his answer and go into immediate meltdown declaring that his statement of ' well I wouldn't mind playing for X Y or Z to be the gospel truth. Then add in the website that depend on adverts for their income and they will say literally ANYTHING to get you to visit their page Add in a large dose of gullibility And you have these kinds of stories on Twitter.

Believe it when you see them on the official site, holding up a saints shirt. Not before.

I would far rather think 'why not' than 'why' I might be 90 by the time we do it, but I'll stay forever optimistic that we can do it. You should note that I understand that CL is completely beyond us right now but you never know what the future has in store. The plan is in place -the club are very clear on where they want to go and I support that.

After seeing the bitter, sad comments on Twitter from skates about us qualifying for EL I'd like to say that I would like us to start winning some cups if only to shut up their constant whining about how they gave more than us. But then I realise that it doesn't matter what we do- the natural state of your average skate is to whine about how amazing it all used to be and how unfair it is and how no other team is as good as Kippershed Utd. They will never change and they will never shut up. Maintain PL status - preferably in the top 10. But definitely not in a relegation battle every other season. Either EL run or cup run each season. - the objective being to have a go at winning at least something Seeing that squad really start to develop into something that can realistically take on the CL..

I can't see him going there. All Les has to do is point to how well the players who left last year have done. I recall even Van Gaal mentioned that Shaw moved too soon to Utd. Do you know I don't think it matters because the board have demonstrated time and again that they are in it for the long term and only make decisions for the good of the club. I think we are going to be very pleasantly surprised this summer. Players are going to leave - we know this. It's inevitable. Clyne and Schneiderlin are both clearly favourites to leave. We should prepare for it and so not panic if they do - the club WILL have replacements lined up already. With this attitude, I think the money we get isn't actually going to matter

But honestly take a look at it - this season has been superb.

Well I was disappointed and frustrated with recent performances. I wasn't with that one! Just seen the highlights on MOTD and Villa just seemed so static each time we burst forward. I hope for another such performance to round the season off. Especially after the bindippers lost today.
