I've got more important things to worry about tbh
-
Glad I decided not to spend my money on a ticket. Never mind, just not our season for a cup double
-
If they were Chelsea or Man U then I think they could probably claim that Wembley is their second home. But they aren't, they really, really aren't. They're Just a small team on the south coast that used to be mid-sized thanks to the Navy.

Nice to see the skates unable to keep their fishy lips from flapping about something that's got absolutely f**k all to do with them. It's a bit like the Under 13's at school being jealous of how well the Under 18's are doing. And I have to say I find every single statement that ends with the word 'FACT' funny. Just makes the poster look dumb (especially when said statement is about attendance - every time a Skate tries that one you know they've lost the argument) As for the ongoing hilarity with the stadium, it's nice to see they still cling to the idea that they can fit a 30k plus ground in at the Kipper Shed. I'll admit that if they do ever do that I'll be impressed, but it's highly unlikely. Also..... the stadium has nothing to do with what league the team plays in, as our recent wobble shows, and their short period of buying their way into the top flight clearly demonstrates. It's all a bit weird really, it's as if a success by the mighty Saints leads to an increase in delusion levels down at the smelly end of the M27. I can't wait to see what happens if Brighton get promotion and Eastleigh get that investment.

We would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those damned new contracts giving the opposition a massive lift......
-
I'm going for an early goal and then park that great big bus, spending the remainder of the game with one striker standing on the centre spot and everyone else defending that box like it's the only raft available on a sinking ship. (Everyone else does it to get the result so why shouldn't we?)

All the hate for Reed on here, and yet we are were we are. (Note: I've had my meltdown and I'm over it now)
-
I was wrong about the first leg. I want to be wrong about this leg too please.

A few statistics about this season...
Mr Biscuits replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
The only stat that matters. How many games have there been where the opposition have had 1 shot on target, 1 goal and gone home with all three points? -
I saw a picture of SaintLiana and fell in love

Saints 1 Norwich 0 - For Once We Score A Late Winner!
Mr Biscuits replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
At half time, Claridge on 5 Live summed it up perfectly - the system doesn't suit the players. It should not have taken as long as it did for us to score. In fact this match should never have been played at all. Now. Important game Sunday - simply have to grab the three points against Leicester. -
im done. I cannot watch this any more. I'm not bothering for the rest of the season.
-
Business as usual then, utterly incapable of getting shots on target. Well done Claud, well done.

I find that odd tbh, if you're going to go to Anfield why wait to buy tickets? Other than wait for payday of course

A bit late to this thread but ITS THE INTERNET AND I HAVE AN OPINION One thing I don't get is where this performance came from - so very different to previous performances recently. Still room for improvement but most of everything we tried worked. I said it on several threads on Facebook and I'll say it - happy to be proved wrong. I honestly thought we were going to get stuffed by Liverpool. I hope we can carry this on both into the league and at anfield (if they pull it back there's several plastic scousers I know that will go from merely annoying to absolutely insufferable) Ref was dire. I'm wondering if that annoying fan in the kingsland usually sits in the family stand. I have the misfortune to be in front of a guy who really thinks he should be managing at PL level. Every time the opposition get in the box he says 'that's it, goal to them' I'll be changing seats next season

Have you not considered the possibility of Cook sending his cv to every club in the land with a letter begging to be put out of his misery?
-
I have no intention whatsoever of paying good money to watch us get torn apart by Liverpool. Playing like we are, expect another game like The one against Spurs - ineffective midfield, non-existent strikers and a clueless manager flapping his arms on the sidelines while they have loads of time with the ball and spend the game camped in our half. Anyone who thinks we're going to get anything from this game wants their head looking at. I would absolutely love to be proved wrong but I can't see it happening.
-
Gutted. Clearly out his heart and soul into the club while he has been here, always led from the front and stepped up when required. I don't care why he is dong it, this is a massive loss for the club. ESPECIALLY when we are halfway through the season with in incompetent manager.
-
Quite simple for me - Puel must go. Hojberg doesn't strike me as the kind of hot head who lose their temper for being subbed. In fact he doesn't strike me as having the kind of temperament at all. But more importantly, think like this - Southampton are, apparently, a mid-table side who have been pushing the top six over the past couple of seasons. We've been playing some good football and while there have been bad patches the general progression has been positive. given this position there should be teams in the PL that we aren't afraid of facing. Right now I can't think of one team in the PL that I wouldn't be nervous of us playing. And I've had that feeling all season.

Can't we just embrace the Bournemouth rivalry?
Mr Biscuits replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
Bournemouth a kind of like that cute special little brother, the one who is always going to need a bit more help than everyone else. And to quote Glen DLC, it'll be a derby when I automatically check to see if we are above them in the table. -

So hang on then..... they've put up a memorial wall commemorating all the fans who gave them a grand when they had the begging bowl out? I'm sure that will last long Also...... Portsmouth community football club was founded in 2013 was it not?

We are after a Vanencia midfielder says the Daily Star
Mr Biscuits replied to Norm's topic in The Saints
Because, of course, a midfielder is JUST what we need right now...... clearly the current midfield aren't passing it around in front of the box enough. -
Can't even beat a team with a player sent off? Pathetic. Very tired of this now.

JUST ****GING WELL SCORE WILL YOU
