What an absolutely fantastic +1 thread Clearly this replaces the crying threads because we won so the whiners need something to have a go at

Welcome to my world for the past 6 months. Barely any people working but loads of cones out. Sometimes I wonder if it's just some sort of elaborate troll that has become too big to stop. Would also like to thank the numpties who sit at 45 in the inside lane and the Middle lane stanley's who sit next to the. Doing the same. Oh and the people who have no clue what size their car is and refuse to use the outside lane because it's restricted to vehicles of 6'6" or less.(especially the ones who come shooting up the outside, pull in front of me and then stamp on the brakes when they realise they should be doing 50. /rant One good performance against a team from a lower division does not a Season make. We need to see this kind of performance against some PL sides

Got a lot still to do to prove he can cut it in the PL. Tearing apart a league two defence is what he should be doing anyway.

Nice bit of crackling that

Do you know what? I actually am quite content with that. And the reason is we can always build again and it is easier to pursue 7th or better having survived relegation rather than having to fight for promotion from the Championship. Not my problem if you can't see that. The world has not ended, we lost against a team that should be pushing to win this ridiculously annoying and yet addicting league, we didn't play as well as we could have and I am quite sure the Ron will be explaining to the players what went wrong and how they are going to overcome it. I am totally mystified with this obsession of constant improvement and failure to do so being some sort of life ending disaster. Being in the top flight is good stability no matter what position we end up in - we proved that for 26 years. You can claim it is mediocrity if you like, and I would agree that, perhaps, we could have done more to win a few cups while we were there. But it didn't happen and so I shall leave that fact to the history obsessed. One day we will win another cup, one day we will break the top 6 properly, one day....... But until then just being in the PL is enough because that provides the stable base for us to improve upon.

We will be fine. I'm not going to judge how we will do some early in the season. First target is points safety. As long as we are better than three other teams in the league why worry? Certainly not going to be writing off any players just yet.
-
Can't win them all. We'll keep improving as the squad gels more.

I've just been subjected to that advert by lallana. What a complete tool.

Luke Shaw suffers double leg fracture against PSV
Mr Biscuits replied to Singapore Saint's topic in The Saints
Feel sorry for him. He moved to Utd a season too soon, but I never begrudged him the move since he handled it well compared to others that summer. Is coming up to be a great player for England as long as he can overcome this injury. -
Because managers signing the same players has always worked out well hasn't it. *cough*Ben Haim*cough*

Humbugged by God! Hmmm. I shall present a googly and see in you in Mile End

Unenforceable just like the ban on smoking in commercial vehicles. Police have enough on their plates as it is without having to enforce stuff like this. (Please note that I agree with the ban, however it's just not practical.)
-
Possibly because it might be an illegal move....... Or at least I think it is......
