  1. Click bait non new story from the daily fail? I won't even bother clicking on it. Surely there's going to be a point where someone at the club gets fed up and actually does something about the very clear media campaign against us, constantly linking our players and staff with moves away
  2. Made up media stories about JWP incoming in....... 5 4 3 ...
  3. I'm hoping this is going to be an entertaining game. Leicester have got their tails up with a great start to the season and we look like things are coming together nicely. 3-2 with an 89th minute heartbreaker from Pelle
  4. I'm surprised so many are allowed off the peninsula
  5. Wasn't she the goth?
  6. Note to conversion team, subject appears to be weakening. High levels of dissatisfaction with the current 'management' at Fratton Park are noted. Subject may be open to possible conversion to a red and white life. Dispatch a covert team to hide a season ticket under his pillow
  7. Woah there! You seem to be implying that this is a completely new entity that has only played us once since its inception, which was a draw. So now I'm confused...... The fans of this new football club keep banging on about history and cup wins and a single 4-1 result..... But they can't have done all that since 2012 so that makes me think that someone somewhere is telling porky pies or they are conveniently ignoring historical FACT. Can this be true?
  8. Always amuses me how people fail to understand debt. They see the word and assume it is a bad thing and therefore bad for the club. The debt would be bad for Saints if they were failing to at least meet any interest payments or if they could not realise some assets to clear it. How can anyone not realise that the stadium alone more than covers this current debt?
  9. Can someone warm up the Portsmyth thread. Since our financial statement is out I'm expecting a lot of hilarious comments about how we are in debt and katarina is going to sell etc.
  10. People over reacting to a complete non-news story in...... The Daily Mail. Wonderful
  11. I have spent countless thousands of pounds and years of my time searching for the perfect woman. Only now do I discover that I never found her because you had her. You utter utter utter utter utter utter utter utter git.
  12. Could it be Because they are a bunch of no mark glory hunters with a massive chip on their shoulder about the Premier League Club just up the road and they can't cope with the fact that their club just doesn't have the fanbase to sustain them at the top level so they will stop at nothing to try and be better even though it always ends up failing?
  13. Or to put it another way, we only hold 48% of the shares and we are out of money so what we'll do is put out a story about owning a 10% 'golden share' while we beg the HNW's for more money which will reduce our share to 10% so that should keep the mugs (fans) quiet Oh and because we can't move from the Kipper Shed we'll say that we aren't moving because we want to preserve it. What tripe There is no way the Abaramovich type figure they are praying for would accept someone else owning 10% of the club. That's like buying an expensive meal and giving someone else 10% of it because they like food too. Not a chance in hell of that working. Not that anyone with any sense would be interested in buying the shame of modern football
  14. I've always argued that it is quite dangerous for a player to transfer because often players look good as part of a team. Only rarely do you get players where this does apply - Suarez is a perfect example of this. His talent means he will fit in to whatever regime or formation you have. Bighead Lovren is a perfect example of a player looking great AS A PART OF A TEAM and then getting found out when the team or system is changed. People forget that Lovren looked good because of the players around him - he had Shaw, Fonte, Yoshida and Clyne to play with and he was sitting behind Wanyama and Schneiderlin, it meant he was able to shine. Look what happened when he wasn't playing with them. The problem for Rodgers is that he traded for too long on the Suarez-Sturridge partnership (which was, let's admit, bloody good) I'm willing to bet that if he could have kept that partnership the media would still be w*nking over him and telling everyone what an amazing manager he is.if it hadn't been for those two players I doubt he would have lasted a season.
  15. Part of the problem is that everyone working at FIFA in a position of influence owes their position to him in some way. They are all damned with him so no one is going to break ranks unless they are the subject of powerful persuasion like chuck Warner is.
  16. I'll take Tuesday afternoons and Fridays between 0600 and 0645
  17. I find it staggering how no one else talks about any other club in the country in the same terms as that lot down the road. They must have their heads stuffed so far up their own arses that they are on some sort of odd cranial-anal infinity curve
  18. That'll do boys, that'll do
  19. What happened to the commentary from Solent?
  20. Is factless Allen capable of writing something that doesn't sound like a poor attempt at a Viking Saga?
  21. That's it for Blatter, now that the sponsors have got involved he won't last long
  22. So still not fan owned then
  23. Clare Balding is awesome
  24. Lasted 5 seconds before I switched off
  25. Also you need to factor in the fact that Arsene has never made derogatory comments about Saints. Tbh if Rodgers had never said what he said I think most of us wouldn't care as much. Also think about the difference in the way player have left.
