Do you know, I've always had the feeling that Taider didn't really want to come to Saints and just did everything he could to avoid it. His loss tbh.

That response.... It's like a top of the net screamer the goalie is never going to get near. Beautiful. Nice to see TCWTB is making himself popular again. If they ban their bestest fan I will laugh and laugh and laugh

But yet again, that's the same non-sustainable model that f*cked the skates in the first place. The whole club needs to be rebuilt from the ground up starting with the kipper shed. You can't survive in the PL with a stadium Under 30k, (Bournemouth will discover this if they survive) Can you honestly see some billionaire wanting to do that when there are other clubs with far better infrastructure in place? I know English Football clubs are seen as rich mans toys however no one has an unlimited pot of money and no one wants to spend stupid amounts of money when they don't have to. Not only that, why would they bother with the stadium now landlocked and no other plot of land readily available?

Have to agree, HMRC's internal problems are of its own making rather than anything to do with the actions of any other entity. Although I do agree that the taxman should be paid before other creditors when it comes to football clubs

Of all the clubs in the football pyramid I think it's safe to say that the skates are the least qualified to comment on the qualities required of a 'fit and proper person' to run a football club.

Please never feed me whatever drugs Factless Allen is on. Ever since the fans achieved a minority share in the club he's been on a one man ****athon of sycophantic arse licking. The tripe he puts in their local rag is nothing short of embarrassing and I'm glad he isn't associated with Saints at all. I simply wouldn't be able to stand the kind of cr@p he spouts.

Well if anyone ever wanted conclusive proof that they aren't going to be expanding much in their current location, that's it. Only way they can expand that shed is by going up and they'll never get planning for that. Well played skates, well played

So Tescos is built..... Next stop the Enormo-Drome cleverly designed to always have just one more seat than St Mary's to satisfy the the most frothy mouthed skates dented ego.

I did say 'try'

As I said earlier, I don't want that bunch of cloggers anywhere near us. They'll only try to kick our team off the park

Reminds me of the people who watch TV waiting to be offended so they can write in to Points of View

Top quality +1 thread. OP should consider getting a job at the Daily Mail

I am very sick and tired of the whole racism used as a shield thing. I once had the misfortune to have an employee with an Olympic sizes chip on his shoulder about his skin colour. He had a real attitude problem and would constantly seek confrontation with other employees as an excuse not to do his job in the end I had to get rid of him because he was far too disruptive and not actually doing the job I was paying him for. The conversation did actually go: Me: I'm going to have to let you go, you've been warned about your performance and behaviour and neither have changed for the better Him: it's because I'm black innit Me: no, it's because you aren't doing the job you are paid to do and your disruptive behaviour Him: that's nothing to do with it, it's because I'm black. You're a racist (5 minutes pass during which I was accused of being responsible for the entire slave trade) Me: listen pal, I'm sacking you because you're **** at your job and your attitude stinks. Now get out. He even tried to take me to tribunal and get race relations involved. Massive waste of everyone's time since it was immediately dismissed once I presented my evidence. Problem is, plenty of people out there decide to use the colour of their skin as a weapon. Townsend just wants black managers, nothing wrong with that. However he is very misguided to use these sackings to further his own agenda

See: Liverpool before Suarez left

Surely you aren't suggesting that they've overspent? There's no way a club like that would ever do such a thing in the hope that it gets them out of League Two. That would be like.... Like..... Buying the FA Cup.......
-
Don't care how we manage it but can we please just win for once? A Sunderland as dire as this should not be a problem home or away
-
Actually, going out to Eastleigh or Aldershot would be hilarious (didn't this happen last year?)
-
What so that bunch of cloggers can kick lumps out of our team? No thanks. I would rather they got to the third round and went out to some random team from League One or the Champsionship.
-
I have to admit, it would take a special kind of skill for them to avoid promotion. If they managed it this season I would be seriously impressed.

I'm still reminded of the last time we played the skates and BBC South reported about all the violence going on after the match. The video showed two sets of fans safely corralled by the police about 40 yards apart singing songs and shouting at each other. One plastic chair was thrown by a skate which barely made it past the police line. Then I think about Rangers v Celtic....... I know the media love to exaggerate but honestly, it's ridiculous how they try to talk things up to be more than they are

Fair point. I think pretty much every fan of any football club would do the same. However, when you link it with the stratospheric delusion levels down at the fishy end of the M27, it takes on a whole new complexion.

Tbh I rather suspect that their 'huge' catchment area that remains totally untapped comes from an arbitrary line drawn on a map between Southampton and Brighton. It also comes from the same mindset that thinks the city generates millions every time the team plays, that roughly a fifth more people turned up on Southsea to celebrate the FA cup purchase than actually live in the dump and that the kipper shed is a Premier League standard ground
-
Stay special

Clearly you are forgetting that their catchment area extends well out into the Solent
