  1. Good luck to them. Nice to see the local smaller clubs building on success in a sensible manner.
  2. Tbh I think we should worry less about what the other teams are doing and concentrate on what we are doing. In this league you're either top 6, mid table or in a relegation fight. We need to be breaking that top 6.
  3. Not to mention playing a Premier League side 'off the park' in the FA cup...... Apparently..... See it become a Portsmyth before your very eyes! Funny but to me, if your team plays another team off the park there's usually a win attached to it. This Portsmyth clearly fails to address the fact that the second half of that match was all Bournemouth and the skates barely got a look in.
  4. Hope really is a killer isn't it. Let's be honest, they really should be walking League Two since they do have the resources to put together a team to get the job done. But somehow they manage to make it difficult for themselves time and time again.
  5. That'll do. Forster was utterly superb, kept us in the match. Arsenal should have won that frankly, not because we were poor but because they had the better chances. Walcott was completely anonymous. Definite handball in their area. Mane unlucky, but didn't give up.
  6. And yet again I find myself astounded at the delusion levels found in your average Skate 'The fans will hold the right to the History and any other historical interest etc' Well firstly your club is only 4 years old so not much to worry about there. Secondly anyone who buys the club will be buying the whole thing. They won't be interested in p!ssing about with anyone else owning the stadium or other 'rights' to any club property, intellectual (ha!) or otherwise. Thirdly who the actual f£CK would want to spend their money on a second rate, tinpot shower of sh!t stuck in a ground that should have been pulled down at the turn of the century and getting worse every day? Some people down there have got their heads stuck so far up their own backsides it makes the human centipede look amateur. Do they seriously still cling to the belief that there is anything worth buying? Do they seriously still think that there's some billionaire just waiting to step in and save them? No infrastructure No academy The ground needs to be completely rebuilt and, because they are now landlocked by Tesco will never have a much larger capacity than what it currently has (unless the FL allow safe standing again) Seriously skates just f*ck off. Stop trying. You're an embarrassment.
  7. My vote is for the monkey chicken petting zoo. I mean seriously come on guys who wouldn't want one of those?
  8. Well this is all a clearly part of their plan to rip up league two. I think they are just lulling us all into a false sense of security first. Not sure why they felt the need to do that for 3 years but then I gave up trying to understand the mindset of your average skate years ago
  9. Oh that's just the cloud Zeppelins making sure the chem trails are dispersing correctly and seeding the clouds with the right amount of mind control drugs to keep you docile. They have to use extra amounts over woolston due to its proximity to Sholing and the failed genetic experiments they house there
  10. 'I can't even begin to describe the build up to that goal' I can: Dull. Hardly great football, they didn't threaten the goal once in 4minutes of play, passed it back to the keeper three times and then hoofed it long because Bournemouth were keeping their shape and stopping them progressing into the box. Besides there's a much better video out there which demonstrates good teamwork and passing skill. I am still in awe of the relentless media campaign down there. Goebbles would be proud of the way they twist fact and truth to suit their own ends.
  11. My god..... The violence..... It was like watching Harry the Dog lead a baying pack of Millwall fans into the stands......
  12. I've never known any other club make such a circus out of losing
  13. Best comment on that page.
  14. Yeah....... I'm sure the local traders were very impressed........
  15. Seriously can this thread be closed. It's hardly in keeping with the intent of this board and just causing division for no reason.
  16. I remember my grandad and uncles all dancing around the living room at his place in Eastleigh. We had a bloody good party that night
  17. +1 thread. Why on earth would any self respecting Saint want the skates to achieve anything?
  18. Koeman said no one was being sold in January. Besides that I can't see what Pelle would add for Leicester and I definitely can't see Saints letting him go for 5
  19. So what you guys are saying then is that, once more, the skates are making things up as they go along. Got to hand it to them, I thought this thread was finally dying and, once more, they come up with something to show that it's alive and well. It makes me laugh, they have to make stuff up about us. We just have to look at their much vaunted history......
  20. A few years ago I got into a spot of bother with some credit cards, I didn't do a full blown CVA but instead agreed a repayment plan. I stuck to it for about 18months and then borrowed 2k from my dad and offered it to the bank as a lump sum final payment - I think the total debt was around 3.5k then. They accepted it and wrote off the remainder. It's just a business decision based on what they are being offered now and what they are likely to get in the future. Happens all the time. Unless you're the skates of course who just don't pay. (BEANS etc)
  21. It comes from having a great big massive chip on the shoulder about their nearest geographical rivals. The way I see it is this 1) they ONCE were our biggest rivals 2) they ONCE were bigger than us but these two FACTS apply to over 60 years ago now when Portsmouth was a major Naval base and Britain still had an Empire. So what we have is, in essence, a small club down the road that was once great but is no longer and it has a significant proportion of fans who cannot cope with the FACT that all the cool kids support Southampton these days.
  22. Hilarious as it would be, I can't see this happening
  23. CVA? What CVA would that be? Also, wouldn't a CVA paying 0p in the £ be an oxymoron? Feel free to correct me but thought the whole point of a CVA was that you pay back at least something on agreed terms. Why would any creditor agree one that pays them nothing? Unless of course said creditor is a charity and your name is Portsmouth Football Club of course
  24. Smug much Glen? Good! I am too!
