I dare say the club will be already talking to players and manager to see what can be done. Tbh the best response possible is to ignore the media who will spend the summer printing any and every rumour they find on the Internet and attempting to portray it as gospel truth. Expect to lose at least two players, hope to keep VVD and a few others. Trust the club to have already planned replacements

Thank you for that contribution, keyboard warrior. My point is that he essentially does Everton down, says nothing about Saints and then still picks Everton to win. But you go ahead and try to have a go at me because that's all that really matters after all.
-
I see that the saggy faced buffoon lawrenson has us down for a loss. Basically slates Evertons home form and then still tips them to win. What an utter c*ck he is
-
Wouldn't work, he'd try to ring it, another one would try to eat it and the third one would worship it as some sort of God. Passionately.
-
Well if his head isn't at anfield and it's not with the Croatian. Team it must clearly be stuck up his @rse
-
Points deduction? FL would only apply that when it benefitted the fishy few the most so not this season then.
-
SKY/FL conspiracy. Clearly.
-
Square root of f*ck all then

Well the concept of the art project is that you write one of your innermost secrets on a postcard and post it to a certain address so it's mostly pictures anyway........
-
How interesting, in the corner of the skates grotto dedicated to Kippershed Utd is a book from Postsecret. For those that don't know, Postsecret is an ongoing art project dedicated to suicide prevention....... How delightfully ironic

Can Southampton become a force in the premier league?
Mr Biscuits replied to Soulful Odin's topic in The Saints
Well I think to a certain extent we are already a force in the PL - certainly when pundits mention it being difficult to get a result against us most weeks I think that makes us a team that others don't want to play against. Of course we would become a proper a force if we could get through a summer transfer window without selling silly amounts of players and improve the already strong team we have with one or two astute signings -
What a thing of beauty that would be, especially if Eastleigh got into League Two and the skates failed in the playoffs Dear lord the inferiority complex of your average skate would be in over drive for the entire season, they'd be twitching more than redknapp at the mere mention of it.
-
Obviously 3 points please however..... I have to echo what others have been saying - we just don't ever seem to get anything up there. Ron isn't going to give up though so possibly he'll pull something out of the bag. J Rod coming on to score would be fantastic.
-
Hardly a debate, more sort of pointing and laughing. Again. Tbh it's just another skate showing off the massive chip on his shoulder. I'm willing to bet he's the type that begins frothing at the mouth at the mere mention of the bigger club up the better end of the M27. As I said before, the whole statement is very childish.
-
Oh my.... Did someone really say that? How childish
-
Lol yes. However he's my son and I only get to see him every other weekend. I don't spoil him but the odd home game when I can won't break the bank. If I could I'd get season tickets, there's plenty of my family who would use them if I couldn't go. I'm a bit mystified about the obsession with Pelle - from what I saw he was doing plenty of good work all through the game. The goal really meant a lot to him from the way he celebrated. There were some errant passes but I could see he was trying to play in other players who either hadn't made the run he was expecting them to make or weren't watching him and didn't read his intention. That can be solved on the training ground, but I wouldn't be so hard on him - I think he's doing a good job.

Took my son for his first match, great result, son loved it. Newcastle were poor and we should have got more out if it but at 2-0 the game was won. The incident with Long happened right in front of us and I honestly thought he'd done his collar bone with the way he landed. Should have been a card for the keeper. Townsends goal was well taken although I'm puzzled as to why he was allowed that much space to get inside. All credit to the Newcastle fans who travelled, it can't be nice to see your team play badly away or home. My son wants to go again so doubled result for me today
-
Which they had to crowdfund to get...... Also: Irrelevant exhibition about World War One shoehorned in to make up the space You're not allowed if you are disabled HEY LOOK WE ARENT CHARGING ANYTHING FOR KIDS lucky spats Personally I would go just for the spats.

Tadanari Lee - most overrated Saints player ever?
Mr Biscuits replied to St Lej's topic in The Saints
Never really got the chance though did he due to that injury -
Yes..... Not that it matters much to anyone on here but I've been thinking about changing my username - it's a hangover from my younger gaming days. Now I'm over 40 with responsibilities it's not quite the thing
-
Just found out I've managed to get tickets to take my 6 year old tomorrow. It's his first time at St Mary's. Think he'll explode tonight when I get home and tell him
-
You don't know me, you don't know what I do for a living, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about when describing me in this way. Perhaps you should refrain from the personal attacks and stick to the topic.
-
I've put the important bit in bold
-
You know what makes me laugh the most about all of this is the fact that people appear to be shocked and surprised. The information, the knowledge is all there if you look for it. And while what people have been doing may be morally wrong it's not illegal (obviously due to the efforts of pressure groups etc who are paid to get this sort of thing done) just as war is morally wrong but is totally legal if parliament votes for it. Reminds me of that film Layer Cake - we're all part of it wether we like it or not. Or whether we realise it or not.
-
Nope, he had his chances and didn't take them. A pity really because we did see glimpses of brilliance from him however I think two seasons is long enough for a player to prove themselves
