  1. A good sensible comment on the situation
  2. Failing to understand why this is important.
  3. They really do hand them a script and say 'read that' don't they
  4. Tbh I'm just done on the whole f*cking subject. Koeman is going, get the f*ck over it, the club will bring in a new manager and we'll carry on as usual. If you don't like it go be a f*cking plastic manc.
  5. Further confirmation of my theory about what happens when you give the stupid a voice. Robbie, do me a favour, use the brain you are gifted with and THINK.
  6. Agree. I'm a Saint. Have been for life and that's never going to change. Ups and downs, promotions, relegations, no matter who is playing or managing for the club.
  7. Ever considered that, at that stage, talks WERE comfortable? And I think you are being a bit picky - the club do not talk about transfer business. You know this. Fonte saying in an interview (or two or three) that he wants other players to sign for the club is just that. NOT the club discussing transfer business. And by your standard the club can't win - they don't talk and you complain, they do talk (and don't actually say anything of substance) and you still complain. Just chill out, enjoy the sun and stay the f*ck away from social media. It's mostly Bullsh!t and it will upset you.
  8. I think a lot of people need to take a step back from their keyboard, calm the f*ck down and wait to see what the club do. The amount of rubbish I'm seeing on social media and on here just confirms my belief of what happens when you give the stupid a voice. 1) Koeman hasn't actually gone yet. Ok so the rumours are strong that he is going to be at Everton next season but until he's there, holding their shirt, it's not done. 2) yes, it is bloody frustrating that he is more than likely on his way. Especially after his repeated insistence that he would see out his contract. But do you know what? It doesn't really matter in the great scheme of things. With or without him, we are still in the Europa League next season. We still have a strong squad that the club will be keeping together as much as possible. 3) The club policy is to not talk about transfers. So 99.99999% of what you are seeing and hearing is other people filling in the blanks (or to put it another way - making stuff up). Just be calm and wait to hear what the club say, you do not have any right at all to demand instant answers from them, no matter what you might think. 4) this does not alter the clubs ambition in any way so do please stop bleating on as if Koeman leaving means that Saints will cease to exist immediately after. Just chill out - the club will deal with this.
  9. Someone tell me when he's actually gone please.
  10. So basically the clubs might be speaking. Other than that we know nothing. We know more from biscuit-gate
  11. Tbh I'm actually quite relaxed about all of this. The club is in a good position to attract a new manager if Koeman does go. The Board WILL have a short list of potential replacements and they have shown they are prepared to force players to stay for at least one more season. It is frustrating of course but we are not in the same position as last time.
  12. How anyone thinks England are going to get even to the quarter finals is beyond me.
  13. Everyone is a keyboard warrior in the safety of their own house. I sometimes make myself giggle about some of the..... 'Gentle disagreements' on here and wonder if the same things would be said, face to face, in a pub. In other news, I have no biscuits. However I am close to a shop.
  14. Because politicians always deliver on election promises don't they....... http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/apr/14/how-much-of-the-conservatives-2010-election-manifesto-was-implemented
  15. Yes that's right, you can't restrict immigration from citizens of the EU member states. But the problem isn't citizens of EU member states is it. Anyone remember the hordes of journalists at Heathrow when Romania (or was it Bulgaria?) joined? And about 3 people turned up? What was it the Mail trumpeted? The immigration numbers aren't that large in the great scheme of things, they are just made to look worse by the media. And the media conveniently forget that most immigrants who come here do so legally and pay their taxes just like you and me, so they are entitled to the same benefits as you and me. The welfare state was set up to treat everyone who contributed to the system, not only those who were British. In fact if you look up Nye Bevans speech it is very clear about this. Like Grandad said, there isn't actually much political will amongst the mainstream parties to tackle immigration head on so what you end up with is a mishmash policy and no clear, managed solution to the problem. Leaving the EU isn't going to change this much, if at all. And like I said earlier - who, in a position of power, is currently putting out a cogent, sensible answer to the problem? No one. This referendum will not change that.
  16. Are you absolutely sure that's not the queue for the Sunshine Fun bus?
  17. I'd quite like to eat some biscuits now, no idea why
  18. The club really do need to stop this sort of thing happening. Every season end it feels like Harvest crunch time
  19. There's got to be an infraction here for failure to shoehorn in a biscuit or confectionary related pun. Don't flake out on us now.
  20. REFEREE!
  21. Until he signs for either club we are twix a rock cake and a hard place tbh
  22. The comedy option wild be for the fans on the Everton forum to pick the biscuit theme up and run with it. That would really take the biscuit
  23. Yeah but they do this all the time don't they. And that all adds up over the season. I just think a lot of people have got themselves into an unnecessary flapjack over this
  24. I'm starting to think that a lot of people have been taken for macaroons by Skybet tbh
  25. I thought he was already in the party ring
