  1. Do people seriously think England are good enough to progress based on what we've seen so far? Wow.
  2. And that, Ladies and Gentlespoons is why England are not going to go much further in the Euro's this year. We drew the game because of our inability to finish. Not because of good defending by Slovakia. Not good enough.
  3. Definite wind up. The club would re-sign Dirty 'Arry before they ever took a punt on some no Mark Italian who can't keep his job.
  4. Yep definitely true. Southampton, a club run on firm principles and sound decision making, playing in Europe next season is definitely goin to shortlist an inexperienced manager who's never run his own team and has a sum total of about 4 PL matches under his belt. Do f*ck off deary.
  5. Fine. Wish him well and hope he doesn't suffer the same fate as several other players who left after we bought them into the PL. Club will already have a replacement sorted
  6. and right there is exactly the problem and exactly why he shouldn't be in charge of the national team.
  7. Those tickets.... Do they also give you a share of the club?
  8. Ignore the c*ckwomble don't give him the oxygen of publicity.
  9. Sturridge probably saved Hodgsons job for him. Sterling needs to get a grip and sort out what he wants to do when he's got the ball. Definitely should not start. I thought Sturridge was awful when he came on, didn't seem to know what to do and constantly held up play rather than picking out someone to pass to or move with it. He worked hard for the goal and deserved it but I don't think his overall contribution was that good tbh. Seemed too obsessed with shooting from outside the box. Lallana was good in the first half, very tricksy to play against, picked out some good passes. Rose wasn't much cop except for. A couple of clearances. Rooney..... Actually had a good game although the second half was a bit shakey. Picked out some good passes and had good awareness. Still don't rate him though and I never will, does not come near the quality of previous strikers who have worn the shirt. (Scoring 50 goals against the international equivalent of the Dog & Duck Sunday 5 a side team is a poor way to get a record if you ask me) Kane was not having a good day and is clearly tired. Vardy was his usual self and caused problems for Wales when he came on. Should be starting. I nearly fell off my seat when I saw that Roy had subbed two players at half time and HADN'T put Wilshere or Milner on. I dunno really. Its good that England won but they had to work really hard for it and, given the amount of pressure they put Wales under, there should have been more goals. Finishing seems to be a problem. So it's good that we got the result but I still think we are going to struggle in the knock out stages.
  10. Because 'There's only one black box' sounds **** as a chant Also: 'I can't do that Dave'..........
  11. This is how you support your team
  12. Brilliant defensive display from Iceland. They also gave great fan chants
  13. 657 or not, those Russian animals are trying to take hooliganism to a whole new level. I hope he makes a good recovery.
  14. Finally. The club statement speak volumes. Right, can't wait to see who the club appoint as their next manager.
  15. Now just hang on a minute, according to that table the bestest rank a lowly 34th which is very clearly NOT TRUE. This simply has to be a conspiracy by Sky and the Football League and in no way reflects that GREATNESS and HISTORICAL inevitability of the impending rise from the ashes of the bestest greatest most amazing football club there ever was. All proper right thinking folk clearly know the truth of the matter and it is only a matter of time before normality is restored. After all that fact that they failed to get out of League Two again is merely a footnote in their glorious history.
  16. It was posted on Sotonians. If it's true I would like to see an apology from every muppet who had a melt down saying the club and the board don't know what they're doing.
  17. Yes. The further east you get in Europe the worse the football violence gets
  18. I don't hate to say it at all. Sepp Blatter clearly admitted that the two bidding processes were corrupt.
  19. The whole situation is laughable. But Uefa won't do a damn thing because international politics will get involved and no one wants to **** Putin off. It's also an absolute joke that Blatter openly admitted the 2018 and 2022 World Cup selections were bent and nobody has done anything to resolve it. As for the French police, they very clearly don't have a clue how to handle this. Consider how the British Police train for and handle rioters (which essentially exactly the same as football hooligans) and you can see a massive world of difference. The British don't just stand and watching, getting involved when they have to. They are in there identifying ringleaders and taking them out, they have officers with intelligence material sitting in camera vans feeding ground commanders information constantly. Before and after the match, groups of fans are identified and escorted giving them no chance to get involved in violence. All very pro-active. A world away from what I saw in the periscope video Stan Collymore posted last night.
  20. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36510550 But of course this can't be true because it's only the England fans who cause trouble isn't it
  21. On reflection I'm actually a little surprised at myself. All along I've been convinced that England were never going to do well under Hodgson and yet I found myself really disappointed at the final whistle last night. That result should not have been a surprise for me given everything I've seen from Hodgson. The man simply doesn't know what he's doing with the talent at his disposal.
  22. Dirty, dense and covered in fungus?
  23. The whole thing with hooliganism is ridiculous. The British police dealt very effectively with it through the '80's to the point that it's rare in the uk. And yet there are reports of groups of .ultra's from other countries able to freely turn up and actively look for trouble at a European tournament. French police are failing all fans miserably.
  24. Russia fans charged the England fans at the whistle. Obviously the England fans are to blame.......... As for the game. Roy's subs were wrong, lost the game.
