It’s nice when they confirmed that they approached Jones in the summer but he turned them down. My very words to you guys many months ago. So what’s happening next? Yes he is but I reckon the club will make him step back from the public eye as they clearly don’t trust him. I personally think they may dismiss him on gross misconduct once they have done a full investigation from what happened in training yesterday. Jones is a deadman walking right now!

Get a replacement lined up first before you pull the trigger. Nothing worse than the board being in the public eye as manager after manager turns us down. Give it a couple of weeks IMHO we will have a new manager in if it all plans out.

Like I said yesterday on here that Jones is Ankerson’s puppet and this was why he employed him. Maybe just maybe the last saving grace for us is that Jones does it his way and tells Wankerson to fuck off!

Good manager but he’s not one that would allow outside influences from the likes of Ankerson. Jones is his puppet who does what he’s told.

Been told Carrick is very high on the list BUT Jones is not going anywhere this season as it stands. I personally can’t see Carrick coming in next for Saints unless Boro fail promotion this season. PS Sports Republic targeted Jones last summer by offering him the job but he turned us down saying he wasn’t ready. Why oh why they and Jones thought it was the right time I have no idea.

Oh Jones is not going anywhere that’s for sure. I do honestly think they are going to review things end of the season.

Pick the right team and go for it. I would rather go down trying than sitting back and hoping the opposition have an off day.
