Saints stay up then you carry on collecting your 90k a week. If relegated the likes of Lavia and JWP will move on and collect 200k plus a week. Its a no brainer for some players if we get relegated don’t you think?
-
Injured I believe.

‘Nurse get the white coat.’

(1) So no Walker/Peters, Half a game for Walcott and Lavia. (2) The strikers won’t score from shitty floating crosses. (3) Elynoussi, Adam Armstrong, Mara and Diallo will probably play some part of this game. (4) Kane, Richarlson & Son love playing us. (5) We are utter shit at home (utter shit away too) (6) Played on Wednesday while Spurs are rested. (7) We have not scored more than 2 goals at home since 1998. 2-1 to Saints!
-
Might as well play with 9 men, if Elynoussi and Diallo picked.

Starting with 9 players against a team who have never lost a game in the premiership after scoring first. Brainless twonk whoever picked that starting line up, even the players who took to the field thought we are fucked too. -
Brentford have never lost a game in the premiership when scoring first. Okay let’s put our two good players on the bench and play with 9 first half. Why not start with Walcott and Latvia and take them off to defend a lead if we attacked Brentford from the off. Fucking amateurs our club!
-
Not listened to the presser but I would keep the same starting line up as previous matches. ABK looked to be struggling last game so its Salisu in for him. To freshen it up he must get S Armstrong, Maitland, Edozie off the bench first. Adam Armstrong & Maru should get on the pitch sometime but hopefully only during the half time kick about. THIS IS MASSIVE TONIGHT!
-
The players are slowly getting some confidence back thanks to having a better manager. I just wish he had some better squad players to bring off the bench as this is what is going to bite us.
-
A point gained but any other team in this league would of got 3 points with UTD being down to 10 men.
-
Not from me. Che holds it up well while Paul can’t even hold his own Willy.
-
Players lacking real confidence from both teams. Dreadful game and we got luckier than Leicester on the day. I’m surprised how easy it is to carve our team in half, lack of man marking plus our attacking play is desperate.
-
Complete wanker apparently.

Wilcox won’t work with him so IMHO he has to go.

In your dreams, we couldn’t even beat an egg.

They sacked Nathan Jones! -
A serious question for anyone going on Saturday. Why? Honestly is it a drug that you feel you have to go as you’ve paid for your ticket or maybe it’s because you enjoy meeting your mates for a pint etc. We have the worse home record for two seasons in the football league. The players are utter fucking useless that are coached by yet another shit manager who was selected by a bunch of knobs that operate the football club. WHAT’S THE POINT OF GOING? 0-2 Leicester
-
We had 3 touches in Leeds penalty area in the last 30 minutes. Even going 1 goal down we managed 1 touch. That’s pretty shit attacking play when trying to get a goal back. What is also wrong with our managers that like playing players out of position all the time?
-
We had 3 fucking touches in the Leeds penalty area in the last 30 minutes, Thats pathetic! It’s not a decent striker you need, it’s passing football that moves the team up the pitch. I had no idea why we played crab and backwards football today against a truly shit Leeds team.
-
After he scored the free kick, Armstrong (face covered with shirt) and JWP had a conversation and I’m pretty sure it was about last week and mad Nate. Yes they knew it was his last chance to stay as manager.
-
I was there and what an atmosphere that was.

Southampton v Middlesbrough old ticket stubs wanted
Pilchards replied to Chris01642's topic in The Saints
Think I did some of those games and I have a full suitcase in my parents attic of ticket stubs and the pink echo. May take a look next time I visit. -
Ralph Jones or Nathan Hassenhutl could be our best option short term?
-
It’s not rocket science is it. We wanted him on a short term contract to help us get out of relegation, he wants reassurance that if he does he could sign a longer contract but the club probably don’t rate him that high. In the summer Potter, Carrick plus many others would be great for us but at the moment those better targets are not available yet.

I actually know the lady who works in reception there. Apparently she was explaining to him the benefits of a back 5.
