Positives: (1) Other fans and pundits are starting to enjoy watching Saints again. (2) When we press it’s the greatest feeling ever watching defenders pump it out of touch. (3) Can’t wait to play 4 at the back as we will be even more attacking. (4) Love how RH always puts on attacking subs to lift the pressing tempo again. Negatives: (1) We over commit in corners as the amount of times we scramble back in a panic is not good. (2) Need to finish games off better.

Its no benefit for RH to extend a contract as he knows he can get a better paid job elsewhere. A longer contract only means the club get more compensation which would not bother him.

Fair enough but to raise some funds to push us on to another level would be RH aim. Thats why I mentioned Bertrand as I can’t see him bombing the line for 95 minutes a game.

Listening to RH comments on Romeu gives me the impression he wants someone that protects the back four so we don’t play 5 at the back.

Still think it depends if we can get rid of Cedric as our right wing back option could be stronger. Also an on loan striker like Lookman who would look the part in our system. Then come the summer you get rid of all those not suited and bring in three class players to play attacking and quick football. Sell Romeu, Austin, Long, Bertrand (If he has not stepped up) and Hoedt to raise some good fees.

No longer looking down and it’s a matter of who can we catch. I expect to win 3 out of those 5 plus at least a draw for good measure.

Bet Hughes is at home thinking how the hell is he getting some these players playing like they are? The next club he goes too will be fu.cked I tell you as he is a dinosaur that’s killing football with the money he is stealing.

Only current form we will pull away plus we have a number of first teamers to come back and improve us more. Whats also going our way is the players are getting fitter every week which means we will be whopping some teams by four goals soon.

Or or he knows he won’t feature anymore until he is sold. Valery will relegate him to the bench or not in the squad at all.

The Genk RB is a cert for our system plus for the long term. Watched a YouTube video this morning and he is everything Cedric is not.

Putting him alongside a quality CB pairing would certainly help him stand out more. IMHO we lack a leader at the back who controls the defensive line like VVD did.

Watching the press conference this morning you sense this guy is the one we want as RH said he fits our system and they knew lots about him. I guess it’s about getting a deal for Cedric sorted out. IMHO Lookman as part of the deal would suit me.

A better option for both keepers last night was to play a game of ‘Avoid getting hit by the ball.’ Reckon both would of accidentally saved three each.

My thoughts and i hope others saw it the same way. JWP overall MOM but tired out towards the end. Redmond is becoming a quality and value player for us. Thought Moi had some good moments and I’m hoping he can start producing what he did for Basel. Gunn offered a pretty lame performance while I thought Slattery is not cutting it for me. Finally I love the fact we have some promising young kids that are getting in the first team but please teach them to stop diving in the tackles plus how to take a throw in.

Yes and that’s all we need. Our squad is bloated and come the summer any youngster not good enough will leave with some squad players that just don’t cut it.

Spot on and what a mess that is. Hopefully we will stop messing up now Reed has gone. IMHO Cortese and a living ML would have us right near the top as they were a class act together. The moment ML passed away I knew the funds would dry up for Cortese.

If you had a choice of joining a queue to meet the Ralph of your choice then I would say one would go round the block 10 times while the other would have none.
