I think it's an insult to the club being in this league with the good list of players we have. We are quite capable of winning 8 games out of 10 on average which can get you to the playoffs at best. However it's a shame that the current bunch are at least 5 more games away from being 90 minutes match fit IMHO, once we achieve that then the big 4's & 5's goal wins will come often.

How about to the tune of timewalk....... 'Lets do the Waigo, YEAH........' [As we all do a silly dance too] We would have the room in the stadium i guess :-)

Am I the only one who does not know who this guy is unless we are talking that guy who plays up front for Manchester City that recently signed from Arsenal? -
Me too. On paper we have better players than any team in the division but we lack the confidence, once we get that back then winning 10 games out of 12 will give you 30 points over a short period. Come January the loan players can go back If not good enough to be replaced with more quality ones due to our league place and then the club pushes on for a playoff spot perhaps?
-
I don't have a problem with loans, We are not attractive at the moment being on -7. Come January if the club have a more respectable points tally then it will attract some better players who will believe we will not get relegated. I reckon 2 in and 2 out on loans. Jaidi and a striker followed by thomson and Another out on loan.

Funny you should mention them two, Was talking to a lad that goes on the **** with them plus the other youngsters in the team and they get to the point of smashed once a week. I don't have a problem with players drinking but to the point of ****ed to the core which does take a few days to recover before you can push on and gain on your fitness levels. Its every Sunday night they drink which is down the leisure world area. My point is, can these players be fitter and stronger if they really cared about the club and the supporters who pay to watch them?

Holy smeg! I hope its not worth much as I use one of those for my golf marker.

Swapped Arteta for a legend.... Can you remember where you was when Keegan signed? well it will be the same feeling when this deal is authorised. :-)
-
I do recall a story that a Saints supporter was convinced we would reach the final after the 3rd round that he booked a hotel room in Cardiff. Now thats dumb crazy or just pure class.
-
Tony Adams will no doubt be the bookies favorite somehow, just like he was for Saints. He will talk himself yet again. I would say that Morinho (However its spelt) I've a feeling he would want the job too as he has unfinished business in England. IMHO I think Capello is going to finally deliver us the world cup if he can sort out a keeper and another striker with Rooney.

Does anyone feel after reading that book that Southampton Football Club is just a bunch of ****heads? I remember so many of those games that I attended where the team put in such lame performances. I really think it came down to the best manager who went out his way to stop this crazy drinking and the performances reflected that, WGS.... hard work and honesty which brings me to the current team, Do I trust them to really care anymore? Also how much of that book was written by Hiley and it cones across as 75% him and Le Tiss just added his own personal comments IMHO of course.

Yep it's a glorious morning as I'm out with the dogs at Colbury listening to Shakin Stevens on the Ipod ;-)

I had it when we beat everton in the great escape, I had it in the quarter final versus Wolves 2003, and the 3-0 at the dell versus the skates (Magilton2) I also had it when we beat charlton 1-0 for our first St Marys victory and now I have it again. I'm talking victory...! I'm so convinced that I have put a beer in the fridge :-) what about you, have you had a feeling that Saints was going to deliver for once? Stockport 1 Saints 3 Lambert, Lallana and Thomas.
-
Too much hype me thinks... Loads more talent in the premiership other than Theo and I feel he is not delivering so much these days as defenders have sussed him out more.
-
You two should get a room. ;-)
-
Thanks for the advice, However the thought of losing to him fullstop will hurt me too much so I will go for it first game and see what happens out of that before I add a weaker team for the return game.
-
Help needed please. I have marsielle in the cup and league which is managed by my good mate. Do I put out a weak team to kick lumps out of his team and then roll him over in the league or do i try to win both games and hope the fitness holds up? comments?

Yesss at last Kelvin Davis is leaving! ;-)
-
Mickey Mouse league! The real fun is division 2 ;-)
-
Please don't add it as many of us are waiting for a copy, Maybe PM it?
-
He would say 'Smoke a Butlers'
-
A better idea me thinks. What would Kelvin Davis think if the stands was named after ex players and that he stayed on with us till he was 40 before becomming our manager for the next 20 years. Any room for him? IMHO we will have another legend at our club within the next decade so lets honour them another way?
