I once got this paddington bear in Saints colours that stood on the fireplace, What the **** was someone thinking? Arizona is spot on. I put it down to fitness, if you make average players train bloody hard until they are blue in the face then the last 20 minutes of a game they will not be such a panic towards the end of games because the team are strong enough to push on for more. Strachan had it right totally and the results started to show it. And then this problem started which was a lack of ambition which results in your manager/star player leaving and so on as you struggle to keep balancing the books because the fans stop coming so much. It's only now for the first time we IMHO are at rock bottom and ready to make that journey back IF Pardew makes them train much bloody harder.

With todays Internet service would Ali Dia of got as far as he did or would the likes of us smelt a fishy one? Reason why I'm asking is because within 30 minutes of a player signing for Saints this forum reveals his career history and lots of you tube clips of his goals. Do you think Souness would of listened to us if we found something?

I was told a while back that the way our new owner is allowing us to operate in bringing in new players is a wage budget. Example: Alan Pardew has a 200k budget a week, if he keeps under that then he can bring in who he wants. Rasiak would of been a very large wage earner which suggests that our new Papa & Jaidi have come in his place. Out went several other high earners like Surman, Mcgoldrick, Bwp and Euell etc which freed up the chance to bring in Murty, Harding, Lambert & Co. I still have a feeling he is under budget and would like to bring in some more loans as they won't cost him any money. I expect the championship (when we go up) will allow him double his wage budget until we reach the premiership which will be very interesting. Now my other point is this. Do you think we are operating on a even profit through money coming in with the gates, TV or do you think our Swiss owner is dipping into his pockets?

I think it's an insult to the club being in this league with the good list of players we have. We are quite capable of winning 8 games out of 10 on average which can get you to the playoffs at best. However it's a shame that the current bunch are at least 5 more games away from being 90 minutes match fit IMHO, once we achieve that then the big 4's & 5's goal wins will come often.

Me too. On paper we have better players than any team in the division but we lack the confidence, once we get that back then winning 10 games out of 12 will give you 30 points over a short period. Come January the loan players can go back If not good enough to be replaced with more quality ones due to our league place and then the club pushes on for a playoff spot perhaps?

I don't have a problem with loans, We are not attractive at the moment being on -7. Come January if the club have a more respectable points tally then it will attract some better players who will believe we will not get relegated. I reckon 2 in and 2 out on loans. Jaidi and a striker followed by thomson and Another out on loan.

Funny you should mention them two, Was talking to a lad that goes on the **** with them plus the other youngsters in the team and they get to the point of smashed once a week. I don't have a problem with players drinking but to the point of ****ed to the core which does take a few days to recover before you can push on and gain on your fitness levels. Its every Sunday night they drink which is down the leisure world area. My point is, can these players be fitter and stronger if they really cared about the club and the supporters who pay to watch them?
