I believe Norwich have named there strongest too......

I'm beginning to wonder if Mr canteen has had a bad experience with MLT recently as he is obsessed by him. The day will come when the club will install a statue of him at the gates of St Mary's so that 99.99% of supporters can admire him for what he did for us. Shame the 0.01% will have the urge to **** on it!
-
A Leeds fan will say different though. I expect they have never heard of Lloyd James, Hammond and Papa so they will believe there's is better.
-
I don't think Leeds are playing too well at the moment, let them worry about us and plus let AP and the coaching team worry about how we set ourselves up as that's what they are paid for :-)

We have them the following Saturday so I doubt it will matter. If anything, Leeds go through then there league form could slump as the manks game will be on everyones mind.

Jealousy springs to mind.... IMHO the three best ones are left for the final, however I can't see any of them making it big time unless Olly gets a lucky break.
-
I will trust the judgement of the football club if they want Beattie back, there was so many stories of minor problems when he was last here and I do believe those problems follow him everywhere, I even saw a video shot of him on a mobile phone and it was only then I could not give a **** about him. There was a period we had to send him away during the xmas break because the guy had cracked! Let's move on and not look back because we are better than that now.

Luggy was hated by all the players as he was often called 'The fat ****** between them.' I know it was Dodd that pushed it forward even more to get him out as he was acting his captain duties to do so. Now to tell you how hated the man was, they had a pre season cricket friendly at BAT where Luggy had to sit in a small office to eat his dinner as the players hated the way he eats and smells.

What kind of Premiership team do you think we will become? Do you believe we could ever be one of the big four or maybe like Villa/Everton that have the odd good season? Perhaps you might think we will struggle to invest once we are there and could be like Bolton? I personally think they do have a game plan to bring champions league football to St Mary's but I reckon it would need about 300 million to do so, I have a feeling Markus would chase that as he has so much passion for SFC right now.

Wow I enjoyed reading that, I see they are going to keep my tree left alone so I can spy on the next session ;-) Blimey with the new stadium changing rooms and the plans for the future I can see this club being an attraction for so many good players.

The things you have to do to get a job at Mcdonalds these days!!! In my younger days I could just roll out the skip to serve the burgers.
-
Simple answer Bridgey. Get them to bring the England game forward?
-
nice one!! Does Pompey ever get good press anymore?

Cortese offers you £5m on Jan 1st...what would you do?
Pilchards replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
I would sit down with a big sheet of paper and list the four guys that have impressed me when playing against my team, this way I would have the players that know this league well like Hammond and Lambert (stars for us) also I would put a cheeky offer to a good championship player after tapping him up by showing the plans of SFC and it's bright future to reach the champions league by 2014. I will tell the players that have not featured for me this season to leave at the first opportunity or I will make there training days at staplewood hell. -
Portsmouth fail to pay their players again...
Pilchards replied to Daren W's topic in General Sports
How does putting a club in adminstration ever help them? Pompey recently can be seen as trying to solve the problem by totally selling every asset they had and they are begging anyone to bail them out right now and that's why I think the FA will help them. IMHO they overspent 2 seasons ago to chase the dream and it deserves to struggle because it will show other clubs what could happen to them too. -
you play football to be paid

I can reveal he is carrying a broken right leg and a pulled left calf, Imagine where he would be in the scoring charts if he was fit?
-
Its a tactic to give the team a breather perhaps? Seriously I watched him at Northampton and he plays the system well, finds the space does his tricks and maybe a decent cross, if not then he cuts it back to Murty. Its the rest of his footy thats pants.

First up if anyone wants a point against us then they attack us as we can't defend so good as our attacking force. Second up, I don't care about the results of those around us as I want the 2nd - 8th place teams to lose more so we can close the gap more. Going for a nervy 1-0 win with a offside goal from Papa on the 67th minute, plus a mass punch up resulting in 2 sendings off. :-D

2018 World Cup bid - Time for Saints to step in
Pilchards replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Yes I do agree something is going on but I think it's more SFC knocking on the door with our plans for 2018 but they won't say nothing to the press until they get an official answer back. -
hey goodwork, that must of taken sometime to research. well done.
-
How do we play the 4-4-2 system anyone? Does Lambo and Connelly hit the flanks or do they hold up the ball in the centre to the overlappers?
-
But are we at the moment because 70% of the time the centre backs often hoof it anywhere expecting him to control it when it's 15 feet over his head. The poor guy is chasing lost causes so often, gotta admit though if you give him the ball on the decks from 25 yards out he looks dangerous.
