Don’t forget the money for the Wednesday light show and the money we paid to have some lovely flowers planted at the training ground last week. In seriousness I was told (18th Dec) we are targeting two Newcastle players and we are waiting for them to get a striker in. Saw recently Shelvey got injured plus Woods is starting games now. Have no idea who these two players could be. Maybe they want Lavia as part of any deals?!?! Thats my 3rd and final post now.

The problem we have is you need to pay over the odds for someone so early in the transfer window. I can’t remember the last time we bought anyone in the first week as we are bargain hunters. Once players move from one club to another it puts another player down the pecking order and these are the ones we target. (Otherwise known as cheap shit) Very rarely do we get in a bidding war with players as the wages we offer are pittance compared to what other clubs offer in the end. Basically we will sign some players around the 3rd or 4th week of this transfer window because our mindset is small and plus we don’t have any decent players worth selling at stupid prices like Brighton are receiving these last few years.

I’m pretty sure we should have someone coming in pretty quickly who could score us some goals. Take that Adams chance we had yesterday, and the Salisu free header etc. Someone with an eye for goal would bury those and give a lift to the whole team. Also bringing Tella on around the 70th mark will give us that second energy we are lacking. Tick tock!

Give it 10 minutes and it will be clear how we will get on. I personally think Fulham will carve us in half and score on the 8th minute. Watched Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United the last couple of days and I notice that they play a pass into spaces for their own players to run into which beats the marker and creates opportunities. We play passes to feet but then the opposition closes them down which results in a pass sideways or backwards. So it’s not kick and move it’s move and kick.

Currently on a splendid cruise at the moment so I have no idea what’s going on. To think we offered the job to Eddie Howe but Semmens pulled it because Ralph won two games and drew one. He thought we had turned a corner. Even some of our fans thought Howe was a big step back. Ha ha ha what a fuck up.

One consultation for us fans is we won’t cling on to the hope that we could escape relegation now. It’s dead certain now we are going down as the board won’t admit they messed up by sacking Jones.

What has become obvious from what I have been told and trust me I do get that information. I was hoping things would change but I don’t think it’s Jones pulling all the strings. The formation last night confirmed what I was told plus he has been told to not prioritise the cup match vs Palace.

A couple of thoughts. He could hardly play youngsters as he had to win this game however I have read reports that he don’t play them anyway which is sad as we have 4 fantastic prospects at the club. Need that killer instincts in front of goal and having a half decent striker to work with Adams will lift the whole squad. Fingers crossed we get two players in ASAP.

IMHO the key to our transfer window is how long it takes for Newcastle to bring in some players. I believe we are very interested in a couple of their players.

Hearing he’s doing a fantastic job and the players are loving training again. Could be a genius signing. IMHO we have to get that striker appointment right plus in nice and early as we have a good run of games coming up. Tella was in tears when he was told he was leaving, hoping Jones wants him back again.

I actually disagree with this comment. Got the strongest bench in world football and he never even put on fresh legs to continue putting pressure on the French. Dabbled for so long that they go and scored before Southgate changed it. As for taking off Saka is laughable. Grealish for Bellingham as he was having a stinker plus Rashford on for Henderson who was blowing out his arse.

I believe we had a strong interest in Woods from Newcastle but he is choosing to go elsewhere if the Toons get a new striker. Such a shame we never got Gakpo or Ramos but it’s good that our scouts team are recognising the talent out there. I personally think we will get a championship target player in as we are not an attraction for anyone because of our low league position and the unknown with Nathan Jones.

No not at all. I’m sure we have some deals lined up as they know what we have in the attacking line is not good enough.
