I think we should be forfeiting this semi final as most Newcastle fans are already booked for the final. It would be such a waste of money if they lose especially to us.

Scoring is an art and we need someone who is clinical. Adams is fantastic for hold up play but clinical he’s truly not. The most clinical person in our squad is JWP and if you took his goals and assists out we would be down by now. Come on Saints pay that little extra to get that great striker we desperately need.

I remember watching Strachan’s first training session up a tree at Staplewood. He would stop the game during a routine corner drill and ripped into Monkou (I think it was) Strachan was in his face like he wanted a punch up. All the other players were shocked and pretty scared of him from that moment. Strachan was a warrior and got the very best out of the team. I even made £200 after one of the tabloids bought my photo of Walcott who was hot news at the time.

All 4 of our future superstars scored along with Doling who is another bright star. I just wish we would be in a position in the league to give them some first team opportunities.

Indeed and me too. So impressed tonight with the energy, the quick moves, plus the tactics. I just hope we get that striker we badly need as it could make the difference if we stay up or go down. It was great to see the players really behind the manager at the end. I know I said it was toxic last week but apparently the whole squad had a massive heart to heart at the end of the week with the management team.

Considering we are bottom of the league and we don’t pay a great wage compared to many others I think we are lucky he’s interested. Akpom is pretty raw and could do a great job to help keep us up. Toney is delivering for Brentford so why can’t this guy? If it fails then at least we have someone that knows the championship next season and would help take us back up again.

Regarding the KWP rumours, they even said on the stream I watched at the weekend that he’s not signed a new contract yet. I suppose some are putting one and one together. I personally think he will go in the summer as he’s too valuable at the moment and we need cover at right back plus I personally think we are more solid with KWP at left back.
