This is nerve wrecking ??

The amount of abuse unwanted players gets on here and on social media in general is distasteful. Good for Charlie and for the club if he moves on, but let’s not forget he has been valuable to the club too.

There has been no lack of interest. Just that we are asking more than he’s worth today.

We need him to stay if we don’t get anyone else in. Almost every time he plays I think he stand out as one of the best players on the pitch. Yes he had a few stinkers but if he can stay fit he’s a real asset. He should be motivated to earn himself a bigger move next summer instead of going sideways now. He’s current record wasn’t enough to attract the biggest clubs which he should be well aware off by now.

We can’t just pile up with CB:s. I don’t think we’ll buy a CB if we can’t get rid of one first. I think Yoshida is good enough, the question is can hoedt/Vestergaard step up?

Upgrade on Romeu would cost us 30+ millions. He’ one of the best player we got when in form would be total waste of money to replace.

Easily Redmond. He has been very good all season and he’s so vital for the team now. Bednarek, JWP and hoj obviously have improved a lot and been very good too but without Redmond we would have been doomed for sure. Redmond has proved many doubters wrong this season.

I was more worried we would get relegated last season than now. It’s not because we have improved but other teams look even worse. Huddersfield, Cardiff, Fulham, Newcastle are among the one who will go down. Would love it to be west ham but can’t see it.

I think most sensible fans support Hughes at this point. We were lucky to get him considering the mess we were in. He is a decent manager with good track record. The peope against him in this forum are mostly the usual negative, complaining-about-everything posters. It is nothing but plain stupid to question Hughes after only two games that hasn’t been that bad really.

I find these kind of comments a bit disrespectful to the player especially when he’s been our topscorer and obviously a valuable player of the squad. I can accept it for players that doesn’t give their all or nutcases like Osvaldo, Boufal etc but Charlie has done nothing than given 100%. Anyways I think you will eat your words, just give it time. .

I think he’s worse then Stephens in every aspect. I don’t think Stephens are that bad that some people here imply. Bednarek is good but somewhat overhyped IMO. He still looks very raw to me and not ready to play PL football every week. His WC appearances was quite shaky too

Unfair to criticize Austin based on today’s game. He played most of the time when the whole team couldn’t keep the ball for 10 seconds in a row and almost never made it to the final third. He was totally isolated, even Messi would have been crap the first 60 minutes of this game.
