Looking at the table only the top 6 have a decent positive goal difference in at least double figures. 2 others have a 1 and 2 positive GD I think this shows what an unequal league this is and for most teams avoiding relegation is the only realistic goal.

Did Ings do anything before being subbed , I saw him pass once to Sims but other than that he seemed to just jog around in their half . At the start of the season he was running around and scoring , was his injury that bad ????

It’s not an organised conspiracy it is human nature. Successful clubs in any sport tend to get favourable treatment , the All Blacks nearly always came out of the ruck with the ball , it was so quick the hands on the ball were missed. Their players were then given legend status and their play was rarely questioned. There was even that spear tackle at the start of a Lions tour where no action was taken ! In football the away team rarely got a penalty at Anfield or Old Trafford etc VAR should help here but only if it’s used fairly ie to overturn obvious errors not mm offsides etc

Rodwell was offered other clubs but turned them down IIRC , Forster ? I think I would sit tight if I was him rather than fail at another club and end up on the Dole !!!!

Fonte was too slow for the prem , he resorted to hands on defending as the attacker sped past him . At WHU he was a very weak link in their defence and it was difficult to see where he could move to and play regularly. He has landed on his feet as part of a winning team so well done ! He will be remembered as a good defender at Saints but had to move as he ran out of steam !

In the past Mane , Wanyama , etc have put in good performances when playing against potential suitors, this may affect current players input for Saints ! In other games they have got red cards , turned up late for matches etc . I see Poch is making , someone else may need to take Spurs forward , noises !

Nothing like rewriting history, Tadic had good matches (especially when he knew he was off) but poor shooting , penalties and failing to release the ball to his teammates was his usual modus operandi. Good luck to him now and we’ll done for beating Real

Atmosphere when Saints are winning is great ! Man U fans jumping round and round while doing a repetitive chant is f...ing annoying and will be for ever more.

Chelsea showing some classic Saints style defending of crosses last night ! Utd fans singing same thing over and over got so annoying I had to watch the end of the match with no sound , they are nearly annoying as Palace fans with their repetitive chant for the whole match .

England lost 3-2 to W Germany as Gordon was ill and Bonetti was in goal (in 1970 WC) was a killer for me for years ! Shilton was great , commanded the box and made great saves .

I liked seeing the Pele save again , Bobby Moore clapped a few times and Gordon picked himself up and strolled over to get in position ready for the corner !

I got caught out at Cineworld a couple of seasons ago , used to park for free but failed to notice new cameras and parking fee signs ! Looked up all websites but took notice of people who were taken to court and ended up paying £300 , so paid my £60 . Couldn't park there again as max 4 hours so lunch plus match didn't work. We now use West Quay multi and pay £5 .

Well you can reduce peoples wages if they are long term sick , even in my day we got 6 months full pay and then HALF pay after that . Of course people staggered back to work just before 6 months was up and then went sick again thus resetting the 6 months ! Shopworkers (in the seventies) did not get paid for going sick on a Friday or Monday and were only given sick pay for two WEEKS. These days people are on joke self employed contracts which means they get NO sick pay . People now go to work when ill as they would be called in for an interview and grilled about going sick etc etc , of course this meant the really ill got hauled in for a stiff interview while the "professionals" knew when to ease off ringing in spoof sick until the reporting period reset ! FF should be well set up financially now and he may want to try something else , good wishes to him anyway .

My point was , although Liverpool are irritating and we would like them to do a Newcastle , the alternative is Man C which is in fact worse. Man U also but Spurs ? Well not so bad ! Jumpers etc refering to old style clubs but are there any left ? Bournemouth ??

The thing is if Liverpool lose the title to Man City we can go HA HA Liverpool but then the winners would be Man City , a club bought and had millions pumped into it just to give it's dodgy owners a better reputation for their country , nothing to do with jumpers for goalposts ..........................
