Uefa etc have had commitee members from the 12 rebel clubs resign .The new members are from PSG for example so not a change for the better really if a club held at arms length is now helping the decision making . I can't see that the smaller countries/clubs will be any better off or have a fairer chance of progress now the 12 have stepped back . Today they are saying they will look at the 2024 revamp again to remove increase to top clubs , we shall see.

This is the logical conclusion following on from the formation of the Premier league . The blazers lost control of of football when the Prem was formed . The clubs that want to break away have got themselves into a financial bind as they have fought off any regulations designed to limit spending . In Spain Real and Barca had a deal where they got the lions share of TV money showing what power they have . The outcome will be the same as with the FA trying to tame the Prem , these clubs will get some deal to ease their financial worrys to the detriment of the rest of the football clubs at all levels .

Well said CBF . We avoid buying anything with palm oil in it due to destruction of the ancient rain forests assosiated with it . It wasn't listed as a separate ingredient until recently , before that it was disguised under vegetable oils . Not much but you have to start somewhere. Eco fuel is now being promoted by the Govt unfortunately to produce said food based fuel additive it involves using land that is required for food producion and also encourages the destruction of ancient rain forests . Likewise soya beans ! Lets go for electric cars , unfortunately same large energy use to produce said cars plus batteries require large quantities of rare elements which require new mining activity around certain countries around the world. No thought about reducing vehicle engine size , output , max speed etc . Energy saved over the last 10 years by hybrid and electric cars has been overtaken by the sale of massive gas guzzling SUVs . So do what you can , even if it seems futile , and keep protesting even if it's ignored .
