I watched the Heysel match and kept watching as we were not told that 39 people had died , the players weren’t told either and it went ahead which was a total disgrace. It should never been played in a run down under capacity stadium and English teams were banned for 5 years . I have not forgotten that the culprits on the night were so called Liverpool fans and the fact that it was used to cover up Hillsborough disaster . Hillsborough was the fault of years of poor oversight and neglect , previous crushes ignored , no safety certificate, out of date stadium , club and council neglect of their duties and a new Poice commander put in charge on the day with no back up .
