Watching Motd I'm afraid it was a penalty in the current climate of big money football . A soft one but no ball contact and some foot contact so as it's not the Chopper Harris or Norman bites your legs era a penalty it is. Apart from that Saints looked better but Newcastle were very good going forward , back 4 maybe plus better centre back pair ....

Same old problem , players need to be used for what they are good at not asked to do something they aren't good at .

Like us they need a goal scoring striker , Havertz continues to be useless , Sterling stuck in a loop playing same move and having no end product ie a pass or shot . They have also got stuck in a loop with endless corners that don’t work anymore.

His record speaks for itself since he left Everton, the current Everton team has less quality than WHU . He's past his best now IMO !

Not sure Moyes is the answer unless Everton plan on making a number of January signings , that’s if they can spend in Jan without penalty !
