Er I think you have forgotten that over several seasons there was little chance of seeing our team actually win at home , what twice this season ? The question is why any fans bother to turn up week after week .

You have to remember he did have a good spell replacing Forster and was No1 on merit for a while and was included in the odd England squad as far as I remember ! He did go downhill with injuries and famously stayed on in one match while injured which led to his exclusion for ages . He seems to have ended up as a No2 at best as seems to happen with Saints keepers .

All players prepared to turn up were 100% included .

So far he's been linked with Spurs , West Ham , Newcastle , Villa , so fair chance he'll stay in the Prem . Of course these may be no more than being on these club's list of english players to keep their home grown players % in the limits .

It's disapointing the Prem has become uncompetitive if/when City win again to make it 4 out of the last 5 league titles . I was hoping Arsenal would win this one to shake it up slightly but we seem to be stuck with a league dominated by 3 or 4 teams.

Ralph still had best points stats for this season ! He looked totally knackered before he went , I don't think he would have lasted the season anyway . Looking forward to having a settled team with a half decent manager in the championship 🤞

The players that have been added to the squad were just not good enough , none had prem experience , the players we could have brought in went to other clubs and have made a contribution but they were deemed too old or too expensive for Saints .

He pushed him so more than having a word , they can't let this happen hence lifetime ban .

Who else in the team would be a good captain ? or is the percieved role of a captain out of date in modern football ? Not sure a hear any mention of captain during match commentry , apart from may be interaction with the ref as spokesman but any player nstill gets in the refs ear !
