In todays Times Saints are top of the table for crossing with Tadic also at the top of the the crossers , all be it at 23% accuracy !

I think Matt LeTissier wanted the easy life and was quite happy to stay at the Saints , at one 'evening with' he spoke about being dropped by Hoddle and how he got the same money so what ? Steve Williams was also a reason to stay as the big fish .

Yes Long was unlucky , on another day his header down would have gone in and the other chance against goalie/defender was nearly there ! Meanwhile Norwich could have scored 4 but that is football.

Going by MotD Norwich could have had a hatful , Long was unlucky , Classie failed to stop their sub putting in the winning cross and Wanyama .... he showed against Arsenal how he can play but is he just not trying ? or unsettled still ? . It shows how well Morgan did in his last season with us ! Also Lambert looked really slow for WBA , don't think he could come back to Saints now , as others have suggested . He seemed happy when celebrating their goals though !!

Mahrez now linked to Manure in Jan , Leicester going the way of Saints ! Used to think the American Football draft system was strange but perhaps a fairer allocation of players would trim the rich clubs here .

Just buying players doesn't seem to be the answer as seen at ManU ! with no win in 6 games after massive investment . They seem to be playing a similar game to Saints with the accent on defending and not getting forward quickly enough to cause opposition much of a problem coupled with missing scoring chances . We need someone who can shoot up front Pelle has a good shot on him but seems to go for the near impossible flick / deflection etc when trying to score . Perhaps Ron has got fed up with lack of investment and has now hit a brick wall like Jose M. With Van G. now looking dodgy perhaps clubs/fans need to reset their expectations in future . In the mean time I would like to see Saints players and Ron start to play with a bit of joy , slagging your team off in public doesn't usually work . Hoping for a burst of form soon before we make the next trip down , even a surprise Jan signing . PS Wanyama's passing , well I remember him passing from his own half to put one of our men in on goal but it beat everyone and went for a goal kick !

But only one home win in the prem today , maybe 2 after NUFC , holiday season usually throws up some odd results as well . Even so we need a win to get going again....

Interesting to see Stoke got their just deserts ie yellows and red cards yesterday and lost , I think we would of won as well with a decent Ref !!!!

Thought their cross was partly blocked which took the pace off it and dropped it nicely for the scorer . Their back four were totally solid all game which made our reliance on endless crosses frustrating , at least Mane looked like he was trying to change that when he came on but final ball not quite good enough. Fans need something to cheer about , Stoke ensured we didn't , how Stoke didn't see 2 red cards and we didn't get a pen was a mystery . Their 26 spent the whole match trying to wrestle Pelle to the ground , numerous after the ball lunges took out a saint and the ref waves advantage ! We spent the whole match banging crosses that were easily dealt with etc Not the fans fault , bring back Shearer a player who could score from 30 yards out or the 6 yard box etc ....

According to article in Guardian today Saints are third in the Shots on Goal prem table ! Teams like manure are nowhere . So we are in fact brilliant !!!

Watching MotD Van Dijk was beaten when defending 2 or 3 times , he seemed to make the right moves to keep the attacker away from goal but still got beaten. Does he need more advice from Ron or would he be better in midfield ?

Who has upset the BBC ? hardly and time given to the match and near the end. Fonte's block , was it a penalty ? he didn't go into the player , the player ran into him after passing ? MotD seemed confused by the ref as well !

iOS9 now has pop up blocker , turn that on ! There was a ad blocker app which blocked all ad links thus speeding up downloads when browsing but that has been withdrawn by the coder who wrote it saying it was too much money to earn for so little work !!!! (another Gaston obs) There is an ad blocker app still available for iphone to try etc

except England's WC was a fix by FIFA to reward the inventors of the game , sending off the Argie and awarding random goals in the final meant FIFAs obligation was fulfilled hence no more WC s for England . If Greaves and Paine were picked we might have won anyway but these things are not discussed openly just a tacit understanding that it was England's turn .....

Despite his lack of shooting etc he was usually a joy to watch ghosting past the opposition so his leaving was a disappointment but as even Fonte with a new agent is agitating for a new contract / move one tends to lose faith in the modern game. The Prem has gone the same way as F1 with the side effect of weakening the England players chances of development .
