Sorry CB Fry but of all the things I have read about the Saints I don't remember hearing about his backroom staff even on here . I read a fair amount about Black and our GK coach though but no mentions of MPs mates !! Still thanks for updating me . My memory still links to Chivers , Paine , Mcgrath etc .......

I think it was strange when MP came here that he didn't insist on having his own assistants , perhaps he was so inexperienced he didn't know you could do that or perhaps he didn't know anyone !!

Of our ex managers two lost 2-0 and the other is unemployed ! We need a young energetic manager (no not Pullis ) . but who ? No idea as seemingly good managers turn out to unable to cope at their new club . At best you can expect one good season before the player merry go round turns your team into toothless wonders . No one comes to mind as a likely replacement Guardiola could get a bit more out of this bunch but ....

but his job is to play in front of 30 thousand people every week , not only that he gets paid more money in a week than we get in a year . Some goal keepers seem to go downhill and not recover , take Carson , one goal playing for England seemed to ruin his career. Although the ball did hit a divot and bounce over his foot !! If only Mcclaren had played James they might have qualified ....... Catching the ball cleanly seems to be a rare event for Forster this season so it's no wonder he got a cheer , perhaps if he had taken a bow or waved to the crowd he could had felt better . We can only hope the club has a decent sports mind doctor !

I remember my Dad taking me to the Dell back in the 60s , Ipswich were 1 up with minutes to go and the crowd were streaming out early but then Saints got the goal back to end 1-1 so nothings changed apart from the away fans being sectioned off !

Watching MotD keepers like Begovic Elliot etc were making numerous saves all match , where as Forster had one crucial save to make and got nowhere near the ball , is something wrong with his eyesight ?? or does he take a sleeping pill before each game ??

I thought he was back on form before he had his leg snapped in two , amazing that the defender didn't even get a yellow card ! Players are never 100% once they come back from major injury , think of Shearer after his achilles snapped . I can see that he wasn't the fittest but what off field problems are being refered to ??

The decline is due to economics , since Kat realized she could not afford to pump money into the club we have been trying to survive by buying low and selling high . Unfortunately , like most clubs outside the top 6 money bags, we cannot afford top players nor have a massive squad mainly loaned out nor compete to bring in the best young talent for future years. Leicester managed for one season by classic breakaway attacking but they have lost their best midfielders to Chelski and the rest of the clubs can now counter their formation (apart from Everton). Guardiola has now produced an excellent team BUT he had to spend big then beat them into shape as well as modifying his tactics , The difference is he has been able to buy top talent to start with , they have the skill and he has managed to get more out of them by coaching as well as threatening their place in the team or even at the club until they get it or get out.

It is not only the squad players the big 6 buy it is the youngsters and in Chelsea's case they seem to have nearly dozens of players out on loan as well. I remember when Seri A was at it's financial peak and their big clubs were buying players just to stop other clubs playing them ! I wonder why our club is struggling to bring players through to the first team , are all the quality youngsters being snapped up and put through the big 6 system first ?

When we missed a KO due to traffic we had to hammer on the doors and only got in as someone was coming out !!!

I do not think that totally artificial creation of "atmosphere" is the answer to improving the team/fan experience and performance on the pitch . It seems a strange situation that a team cannot play football properly unless they face a wall of sound when comming on the pitch. Putting up arches on the pitch and playing EPL theme adds nothing to the fans enjoyment either. What makes it a good experience for fans is watching positive attractive football where our team out scores the other team however close the match was. Leaving the fans with bleeding ears before the first kick of the ball is not the answer . EPL seems to be heading toward the American experience where the fans part is to pay out ££££££££ and sit back back while the same show is played out in front of them week on week .

It appears we have been sent the same email reply , can anyone going to the next home game let us know if the WBA was a one off ? For me it was only the volume that was unbearable and posscould finish a few mins earlier . Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback in regards to our PA system. Firstly we would like to take this opportunity to apologies for the sound levels at our recent home fixture with West Bromwich Albion. It appears the system may have been turned up above appropriate levels and have since been made aware of this issue. We are sorry for any discomfort this may have caused you and fellow supporters. We have liaised closely with the relevant members of staff and sound engineers and have been assured that levels for our next home fixture with Burnley will be reduced to well within decibel limits. In regards to the why the PA system has been louder, the honest answer is that both the players and support staff have requested louder music in an increase to build atmosphere in the build up to kick off. Our players and sports psychologists select music designed to ‘pump them up’ and is why the music level is raised in the minutes before the match starting. For our home fixture with Burnley, what we would ask from all of our loyal and passionate supporters, is that they take every opportunity to chant, sing and cheer our players and help raise the atmosphere, so that our players can rely on the support from the stands as well as the PA system. I've emailed the supporters relations via the club website as I believe the volume was above any H&S limits for decibels . I had my fingers jammed in my ears but the vibration continued through my bones ! After 30 years + working in power stations I know what damage noise can do so over to them.

Good match to watch despite usual worries (ie Forster and slow play in final third) Gabbi must get fed up making those runs into space and being ignored and Davis not releasing the ball around the box until too late etc. Tadic also guilty and failed to win a penalty , looked like Foster got a hand on his leg but his dive was unconvincing plus I think Refs are unlikely to give him benifit of the doubt ! Well done Yoshi , quietly getting on with the job and forcing a save from Foster. Main complaint is the volume of the pre match "music" which despite blocking my ears could be felt through my bones , we were in row YY and that may be why but I'm sure it exceeded all health limits and this from someone who worked in power stations for over 30 years !!! It also went on too long and intruded on the kick off.

Of course Leicester have sold Kante (Wanyama) and Drinkwater(Morgan) and Mahrez (Mane) wants out so Puel will be right at home !

Austin seems to have shot his bolt , may be linked with his playing away activities , or he may be in terminal decline combined with the team style of play !!

Fortunatly J Rod is being played out wide so hopefully will be again on Sat , playing people out of position is the new norm it appears.

Not the Chinese people but the Chinese government , China has been recognized for years as the next country to dominate the world as western powers fade . If you look at where things are made when in America or here you will see that it is made in China . NFL gear , jackets , shirts etc all made in China . Investment abroad can finish at a stroke if the Chinese Govt think it's not serving their purpose . So that's the dilemma for the Prem and championship teams do they struggle on or take the Yankee dollar or Chinese yuan ?
