Read again before you call anyone pathetic and greedy overpaid t@$ser. VVD didn't post any of those things. They're a selection of his recent 'likes' on Twitter that have nothing to do with football, or with VVD. Why they're relevant and posted here I have no idea.

I don't think anyone is under the illusion that they're advicing the club here. It's a forum, and people like to moan.

Number of times VVD has officially said or written anything about all of this: zero times.

Stephens can hardly be considered a young player anymore though. He's about the same age as Romelu Lukaku, Harry Kane, Paul Pogba. Different positions, different kind of players of course. But would you consider them youngsters?

I think Aké is decent enough, but we need someone with much more experience now (assuming VVD leaves). If we'd go for a Dutch cb who will get time to learn to reach his potentual I'd rather have Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

I just wanted to post here that even though I agree that it IS the best thing ever to be a dad, at many times it's also felt as the absolute worst thing ever. I think it's unfair that you don't hear this as often, because you'll start doubting yourself and feel like maybe you're a horrible father for thinking negative thoughts about your baby and wanting to walk out the door and just keep walking. Months without sleeping will do crazy things to your mind, and litterally turn you into a different person. Take care of yourself if this happens. Make a schedule with your partner to make sure you both get some full nights of decent sleep. Everyone will benefit from this.

Probably Pellegrino's most famous moment as a player (missing the decisive penalty in a Champion's League final): I was personally more in favour of FdB (or Vieira), but I'm hoping any decision will bring a helpful fresh change of mood.

Maybe (if indeed he wants to go) he's heard very good things from Wijnaldum.

It’s not so surprising though with the current state of the Eredivisie and the Dutch national team. It’s not a coincidence that they haven’t qualified for the EC and are now struggling to qualify for the WC. Looking at the list of Dutch players currently employed in the PL, it’s hard to find the next Bergkamp or Hasselbaink, or Van Nistelrooy, or Van Persie. Just for fun, the best team I could come up with, built with only Dutch players currently employed in the PL: -------------------------Krul------------------------ Janmaat---Martins Indi---Van Dijk---Van Aanholt ---------Clasie----------------------Blind---------- ---------------------Wijnaldum--------------------- Narsingh------------------------------------Affelay ----------------------Janssen----------------------- Bench: Stekelenburg/Vorm Fosu-Mensah Aké Pieters De Roon Fer Klaassen Pretty decent in defense, almost nothing going forward. In any case... I still think Clasie could do okay, if surrounded by the right kind of players.

Best two PL seasons ever. Argue with that all you want.

How's their coffee?

Forget about Man Utd. If you look at his time with Ajax, Bayern Munich and Barcelona you'll see the LvG that could do well very here. The real reason I don't think it'd work is because of his personality.

Much more than 'record' for me is attitude, personality and promise (some signs of being able to create something good). Someone who has won the league with a group of superstars is not necessarily the man who would also do best here. Going for relatively unknown is a risk, of course, but someone like Viera could be a refreshing choice. He's young, he's passionate, and he has achieved almost everything that can be achieved as a player. I wouldn't mind giving him a try.

Martinez is doing really well with Belgium, isn't he? Top of their group, almost sure to qualify for the WC. I don't see him leaving, except for if he somehow REALLY misses working with his players on a daily basis.

Ajax had him last season, but never used him even after he had recovered from his inury. Eventually he moved on to AZ where he had some decent games. I think his contract is still with Newcastle?

A true ITK wouldn't care that much about that status though, would they? The realness/credibility of ITK-status is much more interesting for us others than for the ITK themselves. You either want to share information or you don't, and it's up to the rest of us to believe it or not.
