  1. You are a brilliant business man.
  2. He also knows VVD already, from the Dutch national team. I don't think they've played together yet though. Martins Indi said he misses the warm sun and living by the ocean, but if nobody in Spain or Portugal wants him, I think he'd be a great catch.
  3. Oh right, there's that. In that case I'd play Hojbjerg there.

  5. Nice overview, Billy!
  6. Tadic: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/15040194.Tadic__Puel_needs_to_play_his_best_team_at_Liverpool/?ref=mac
  7. We really need this. Great!
  8. I'm watching this on a very low quality stream. It works, but if someone has a good one it'd be much appreciated!
  9. Very optimistic about this one. It's time to break the negative spell. Onwards and upwards!
  10. So basically Puel said we may buy a new defender, and people still come on here to vent their negativity. What do you want him to say instead?
  11. And Donald and Melania danced to the sounds of the new Southampton anthem 'My way'. Maybe he's the new billionaire investor?
  12. Maybe it's just because he knows there he doesn't have to deal with the people he's grown to dislike at Saints, whoever they may be.
  13. Erik Sviatchenko. 25 and doing a good job for Celtic (who would be ****ed if we stole their CB again, I suppose).
  14. It's like a romantic relationship: it only works as long as each party wants to be with the other. As soon as the love from one side is gone, it's not a good idea to stay together much longer.
  15. Lots of games, lots of rotation. Many of the players still get to play a game every week, so the 'lack of rhythm' thing seems to be not as valid as when the same amount of rotation would happen in a period of fewer games (obviously).
  16. Of course he's not very much a true ex Saint, but Eljero Elia is currently making millions outside of football as well as still being a succesful player. He owns fashion brand Balr (together with Gregory van der Wiel and Demy de Zeeuw), football news website by433.com, co-owns Footballtemple and just opened a cocktailbar (Callisto) in The Hague.
  17. Of course he's a good player. The margins are so small in professional football though, between great and good and not good enough. If his full motivation is gone, that can rapidly lead to that 5% decline from great to 'okay'. This doesn't mean he's not a great defender anymore; it just means he can't be that for us anymore.
  18. This season after 21 games: Won: 6 (29%) Drawn: 6 (29%) Lost: 9 (43%) Lasr season after 21 games: Won: 7 (33%) Drawn: 6 (29%) Lost: 8 (38%)
  19. I used advance search for threads with the word 'coaching' in them. It seems unnecessary to start a new thead.
