What happened to Fabian Schär? Did he sign for someone else? Were we never interested?

I would like us to put in a low bid for righback Kenny Tete (Ajax). Less than a year ago he was wanted by everyone, including Man Utd, but Ajax wouldn't let him go. Then Ajax got a new coach who doesn't like him. He's only played 2 games this season, and his contract expires by the end of this season. He's going to be much better than Martina, at least (and I'm one of the few here who has a soft spot for Martina).

I don't know much about him, but if we felt we needed him I'm glad we got him! Every new signing brings a certain amount of excitement.

Swap for Janssen. I know he's been bad for them, but I think he could be just what we need.

If Stephens hadn't done such a great job against Liverpool and we would purely judge him on the Arsenal game we wouldn't be thrilled either. I thought Gardos did alright.

I think Morocco could be out of the AFCON, if they lose against Egypt tomorrow? It'll be good to have Boufal back available. Going by Puel's comments he was out today because of the AFCON rule, not because of injury.

I'm very grateful that Arsenal also are playing kids and reserves.

I'm curious to see who'll replace Rodriguez as an attacking option. It would be great if Ryan Seager or Olufela Olomola could get some game time.

Rafael Benitez doesn't want Tim Krul back at Newcastle now that he's recovered from injury during a loan spell at Ajax. We could do a lot worse for a back-up goalkeeper.

It's interesting to see that in general the top teams have the fewest injuries. I know there's bad luck (like VVD), but I wonder if they're doing something differently, and what.

It looks like we're seriously trying for Gabbiadini, but any news on a CB?
