General question about injured players: in what way are they still involved with the squad? Are they required to be at games? Are they at team meetings? Or are they going through the recovery process completely separately? I’ve seen Gabba in the crowd during his injury, but I haven’t spotted VVD, for example. Their own choice? Depending on the stage of recovery?

On MOTD they mentioned an (actual) injury for Bertrand (so not one of the ego kind).

I'm so glad we won this one. Too many games this season where we were comfortably better but not getting the ball in the goal. Good thing that Townsend shot hit the post! After that I started believing we may have a luckier night this time.

To be fair you could definitely find quite some games from last season in which Martina played relatively well and some in which Cedric played very badly. I don't think many believed that Martina was a better player, but in my opinion it's very true that he played some better games.

In basically every single Saints game I've watched on TV this season, the commentators have mentioned at least once what a great job Puel is doing here. I know this doesn't mean much, but I think it shows that the general perception is that he's a decent fit, and that he will stay.
